although you don't always know if the people on the other end are legit, the bit of reading i do of other people's experience on the internet is enough reading for me.
i read william s. burroughs cause the bands sonic youth and nirvana were big on him. really unenjoyable experience... i loved reading kurt vonnegut as a teen, taking psychedelics and thinking about like time travel with the mind and stuff. vonnegut is really good vibes. love the drawings in "Breakfast of champions"...
i tried to read some older classics, but the vocabulary was too much for me. i found "of mice and men" really easy to read. the cover of the copy i had brought me great joy. it was a probably press from the 60's that was in my grandparent's attic. don't really know what the point of that book really is supposed to be about, but the vocabulary i could get through. lol. i think i've read the wickepedia to see what it was trying to convey years back, but i can't even remember. i'm retarded....
i wanted to be an english teacher for a few years in high school before i realized i couldn't pass algebra courses to even get through community college, and i was always looking up words and trying to keep up with vocabulary... so much wasted time. i don't remember much of that shit..... like there are a few words that are often used that i remember that help me get by reading on the internet... i always talk about how i have some artistic and musical talent. i don't have a good time with non art school stuff.
