The people came there to party. Not everybody is interested in the scientific facts about a substance. Some people just want to have fun and dance all night. For those people, you need short, easy and recognisable information.

This is exacltly why we need this information, because people dont care:\ Education and harm reduction are what's important here.

I am teh winnar so far! :D I can't wait to win my colorful something or other! Maybe you guys can collaborate with some of the other mods and see about sending this thread on a whirlwind tour of BL so it can get some more attention.

Sorry I missed this and that is why I didn't reply. I like em, good ideas. I will be working on/revising this sometime this week. I will also try and come up with some alternate designs as well.
 
So I saw this contest and thought it was a great cause to put my design skills to use for, so heres my submission. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Some critique:
Concerning the amount of MDMA found in a pill, I think you should write anywhere from 0mg to 200mg or more.

Also, concerning 75mg giving someone a good first time... since there is no way to be sure how much - if any - MDMA is in a pill (and the fact that people will react differently to different amounts of MDMA), I think it's important to stress how important a testing kit is (or heading over to pillreports.com - but be sure to note it's not 100% reliable), and that if a pill tests clean you should startwith just one pill.
 
Amount of time you wait should be up'ed to at least a month IMHO. Also, the ice-pack -> shock, I've never heard of this before, could you link me to a source for this information?

Ok, I found the 75mg to 100mg in the MDMA essential guide, but I'll change it to "0-200" since I can recall times when ive had a pill not do shit. As for the cold pack, I was still going by the mdma essential guide, but now that i reread it, the warning about icepacks is the treatment for hyperthermia, not prevention. my bad, ill fix that right up. thanks for the comments, and any more feedback is always welcome
 
^Great job using the Essential Guide, it's a wonderful resource. I'll be sure to check out the 75 to 100mg thing, as that seems to be inaccurate. Maybe it's referring to the average amount of MDxx in pills that test positive for MDxx... guess I'll have to give it a look.

The sentence following First Timers is a bit of a run on. If I had to rewrite it, it would be read as such:

"Since pills will vary in MDMA concentration (from 0mg to 200mg+), you can never be sure how much MDMA you are taking - if any. Testing your pills is a great idea, and will let you know if they contain MDxx (MDMA, MDA, MDEA, MBDB, etc.), any adulterants (see "Common Adulterants"), or nothing at all. If an assay of your pill can be found on PillReports.com, it's a great resource to learn estimated MDxx conentration, and the relative quality of your pills."

Of course, you don't have to copy that word for word (unless you want to), but I find it a bit easier to read.

As for "Common Adulterants," I think it might be important to add something along the lines of: "some of these are harmless, and others can be very dangerous."

The rest of the pamphlet is top notch.
 
nice wordsmithing, I'm a designer, not an english major, so it always helps to have someone else to write the copy haha. is there another way you'd put the adulterants blurb to incorporate your change, or should i just tack it on as a sentence at the end?
 
I'd put what I wrote in parenthesis directly following "Ecstasy has been found with each of these substances".
 
Also, don't forget to give yourself some credit on the pamphlet. If your comfortable throwing your BL alias somewhere on there, please do! Of course, you don't have to if you don't want to...
