Hi I'd like people with expiernce to explain some of the dangours
That might not be obvious of smoking dmt
I have read a lot but sometimes its better to ask

P.s I was kind if trolling un my last thread that got closed sorry

Measure your dose properly. Work out what type you have - ie is it organic (comes from plants) or if it is synthetic; is it 5-Meo-DMT or N,N-DMT and what other analogues are there in the mix. This is generally more important if you are using ayahuasca/pharmahuasca as it lasts longer, but I have had 10 min 5-Meo-DMT trips alone that felt like hours.

Aside from that, there are a few "reports and unconfirmed cases" of mixing 5-Meo with an MAOI causing a health issue, but I have never had a problem.

Smoking it is generally the best method for your first time IMO

Edit: and i forgot to mention, keep calm and focus on your breath!! It makes a world of difference, especially if you know how to meditate and/or do yoga. Breathing is very important for psychadelics.

A great thing with DMT is that it can be pure, easygoing, recreational fun at lower doses and mind bending at higher doses. In my opinion it has a pretty smooth and predictable dose response curve until you get to 'breakthrough' territory (if there really is such a thing).

Start low. Enjoy learning the territory as you slowly climb higher. That way you can approach the experience with little fear. You can redose 10-15 minute after the last hit or 1 hour after. If you redose 20-50 minutes after the last hit, you will experience tolerance. You will also experience very rapid tolerance if you take your hits slowly. Try to get the decided dosage into your system as quickly as possible.

Well, it could be possible to hurt yourself during a trip but chances are propably minimal - a sitter is recommended ;)
As aussie101 said, there have been some cases with 5-MeO-DMT + MAOi's, but I've seen succesfull reports as well - I wouldn't mix 5-MeO-DMT with MAOi's.

DMT + MAOi isn't itself dangerous, but MAOi's in general require non(or very low)-tyramine diet and a lot of drugs can interact bad with MAOi's.

Then there are the "dangers" of getting burned by the smoke if technique is improper, or the fools who snort or plugg DMT freebase and get their noses/asses burnt :P
Risks of infections and such if IV/IM ROA is chosen and product is impure/bad hygiene.

And of course the danger of getting a "badtrip"..

How about trip/sleep walking into dangare or harm
Does that seem likly?

a guy i know recently comitted suicide....he had profound DMT trips that totally convinced him there was a better world waiting for him...

i guess he must've been troubled and more likely to do that anyway but i really do think it made it seem easier...

i also guess that all psychs have this danger....but y'know you asked so....

I can't see sleepwalking possible with DMT. If you are too far gone to know what's going on, you won't be able to co-ordinate your body.

DMT is stressful on the heart and blood vessels, but a healthy person should not significantly be at risk, nor would lasting issues be expected.

This is however something to take into account when considering drug combinations. Avoid stimulants mixed with DMT for this reason.

I think a more considerable concern is that it can be hard to integrate difficult experiences and it is important to try your best (regarding set and setting) not to get stuck in an agonizing experience. DMT is not recommended for those that are mentally unstable because it can have impact on your sense of reality.

The drug itself isn't dangerous, but you can't rule out someone doing something foolish while under the influence of anything. Biggest risk is probably smoking a big dose while standing up and then falling over when it hits.

I've never personally had problems, I think if you have a nice place to lay down the last thing you wanna do is move- you just wanna lay there and enjoy the ride...
