I'm here, following along, I see everything like usual.

I'm probably just not the person to soothe any of this over or work these things out. I've written and erased a lot of things over the past month or two. I have a lot to say, I think in general there's a very large amount of misunderstanding going on. That said, I just don't think I can adequately find the words to express any of that, and I don't want to make things worse for everybody, I just have too many mistakes already in my history here, and I don't want to repeat any of them or make any of this worse. I'm a bull in a china shop, my velvet glove doesn't fit, so I must uh, quit.

Regarding CEP, I post in there too, and I like the forum. I think the forum could be fine, but its nature just brings up so many sticky topics, that people get emotional about, and it introduces so many difficult factors for all of our mods to deal with. The fact that there is no mod for it, no one wants to deal with it right now, having sr staff look after it and take necessary actions, while we're already taking heat for so many other things, it's just not realistic and it makes things hard.

But I definitely want to hear out what everyone thinks, and come up with a solution to making the operation of that sub forum more tenable. We just needed a break from it to sort some things out. In general, I just would like some of the ongoing bad vibes here to dissipate. None of these things are happening to censor anyone for any particular political beliefs, I don't know really how to say that in a way people will believe, but it's just not the case, and I don't have a magic wand, so I've made myself a little bit scarce recently and been focusing on more of the technical side of things.
