Few of my friends are going to this next weekend, the weathers turned a bit shit though otherwise I was really up for it, set in a forest in north wales, come out of the forest and your on a beach. Mix of techno, house, electronica, bit of DnB. Friend Djed there last year so got free tickets, going to see what happens with the weather.

It gets trippy as fuck at nighttime, great festival though.

This 3D Dome tent gets you on a different level.

The Tree of Life.. a giant festival, this year in Turkey. Check out their soundcloud page, there's over 200 mixes and songs and a lot of them are free for download.. ALL of them are dope as fuck. Some hella chill shit in there, I guess it's what you'd expect with a bunch of hippies on psychs sitting in a forest :D

i graduated.
i went from coming into high school on drugs still from the night before to shooting up in the college bathrooms in between classes (because I'd stay at college all day. Didn't want to go back home at all, was quite happy to sleep on the couch at college rather than go home, that and reading the newspaper. i'd always read all 3 of the papers we could get for free with student ID every day, USA today, New York times, and the local paper. Generally USA today first cause i'd save the new york times for after because its the best/thickest and i'd read the entire fucking paper other than the living sections and the sports sections most of the time. or at least I'd read most of the other sections, i'd even read the financial section of the new york times when i'm some dumbass kid who doesn't know shit about business/doesnt trade stocks or commodities/precious metals and doesn't have an interest in business finance...)

graduated from speed in high school to heroin in college bathrooms to be more accurate.
it was kinda bad that i had at least one 10pack in my backpack most of this last semester (and half the time that would be what i forgot that I bought some time when I didn't bring works from home before copping and didn't feel like going home to just go get works/didn't want to go home and just figured i could spend $3 to get another 10pack of needles at the CVS instead of going home and using the ones i had at home, because there were specific reasons I preferred to stay on campus whether or not I was getting high during the day)
then I'd nod out in geography class and an arab friend of mine would be like tapping me/my desk from behind so i dont get in trouble for sleeping in class
only arab guy i've really known but he's cool as shit. i need to hit him up so we can chill cause he's asked me for weed before (but never was like so I need it rigt now, I've got money and I've got my car so can we get it off your dealers? so i never have gotten him any yet but i swear i will get that dude some reefer and smoke with him before he goes back to his home country in 5 years lolol.
Cause he's a legit muslim and shit and its legitimately like an interest of mine to smoke with a muslim just because i was under the impression muslims cant take any sort of drug and that its highly frowned upon in islam, but apparently not as much as i thought.
That and i wanna chill with this diggity cause he's cool as shit imo.
i'm pretty sure his family has legitimate "a-rab money" too.
or at least i asked him once if his parents are into oil....

I wish HS was more popular in Canada like... about 2% of the raves I go to have that. Heck, I never rolled on Hardstyle at all, only some hardtek. :/

and this 2 months break def helped me... had the best roll of my life (#12) at that skins rave. Too bad some douchebags stoled my wallet, but other than that, amazing night for me. Had a 2 days of afterglow... that never happened to me except like the first time, just goes to show how great it was. Thank god for the green question marks.

Yeh dont get me wrong, I love to roll on deep dubstep, darkstep, drum n bass. Psytrance is underground but there's a rave scene for that in Montreal. I just wish Hardstyle was more etablished... I swear 3/4 of the rave heads wouldn't have a clue what Hardstyle is where I live lol, it's pretty sad cause it would be a perfect bliss to roll on I'm sure of it.

But I'll get my hardstyle fix a day, I'm definitely hitting up Qlimax or another Q-dance festival in 5 or so years. I NEED to experience the HS party vibe.

one day, maybe when you're a little older, you'll realise that it's ok for people to not like what you like. it's ok for you to not like what i like. further, if somebody dislikes something you love, that says absolutely nothing about you. that expecting people to like things you love and recommend is actually kind of silly.

different people like different things and that shouldn't just be accepted, it should be celebrated.

i love that you love hardstyle. i think (what i have heard of) it sounds mostly awful.

I used to be right into what I now class as "fucking drivel" music. I was into hardcore techno back in the 90s but I simply cannot listen to it nowadays.

I'd like to think my music taste is more mature now........whatever that means. Each to there own............But I bet most folk in theit teen that listen to hardstyle or what ever passing fad genre is currently doing the round wont be listening to it in their 30's. Well its highly unlikely.

I had twice the energy in my teens as I do now........and so did my drivel music of choice.
