I bought it new over a year ago, re-registration was just due this week. SL500, love it...so long as it's under warranty ;)

if i had a car with 383hp (that wasn't a truck/suv) i'd be doin 150 down the highway...
 
Hell yeah I speed everywhere! Why else have a sports car but to cut off everyone else and be a total dick in traffic? I love convertibles...my boyfriend is too tall to drive my car actually, it's kind of hilarious when he has to.

does it not ever like leak or anything? i've never ridden in a convertible, nor do i find the idea particularly fun looking, i've ridden in a car with the T-tops taken out and once you hit 40 the sound of the wind ruins it...i'd assume a convertible would have a similar problem to some degree at least at highway speeds.
how much did it cost if ya dont mind me askin'?
if it was 45k or more, if it was me i woulda bought a base corvette (if i had to buy new) for sure
i love the roar of a big american V8.
 
I love Corvettes, they're my face USA car- top never leaks, I've had cloth tops before and never had a problem. The SL tops are hard tops though...way over 45k lol

You're not driving it, but I'll give you a ride :) I'm in my 20's, I only financed part of it, I don't believe in using credit if I can avoid it...aside from my first car, which was a piece of shit, I've only had sports cars. It's hard to go back once you're used to driving with the top down in LA, we've got good weather and too much crazy shit to see.
 
I'm pissed

I was supposed to pick up some Ritalin today for am awesome weekend with my friend who's in town for the weekend. Got the script. Tried to fill it at various different pharmacies around town only to find out that not only is it backordered up the wazoo, nobody has it, (apparantly the manufactorer is having a PRODUCT RECALL!) but the dumbfuck doctor's assistant wrote it RiDalin on the script so most places wouldn't fill it anyway. D'oh!!!!!!!!!!!
