Everytime I see a tap out or affliction shirt at a party I cringe. Unless the guy's face is all callused up and swollen like an actual MMA fighter.
 
You don't have to have a callused swollen face to be good. Gsp's face looks fine lol, and Fedor doesn't have cauliflower ear or a puffy brow lol
 
Even so, I can tell if someone has been actively training/fighting from someone who's never done it before.

Slight changes in the brow, nose and cheek bones are tell-tale signs. Even GSP can't hide it with his team of medical professionals. (Hello 2-grand seminars in Canada)
 
True, unless they're just flawless at guarding their face and never let it get dragged around on the mat. In high school wrestling so many people would get mat burn, and then we'd have to rinse it down with alcohol so we wouldn't get ringworm >.<
 
Yeah I noticed wrestlers seem to get more rougher-masculine looking faces after a while.

MMA fighters get really defined cheek bones from the buildup of bone mass and low body fat. I remember how 3 years ago if someone had hit my cheek bone I probably would have curled up and cried. Now I really can't feel anything there. Same with my right shin.
 
Conditioning your shins fucking SUCKS when you first start doing it.. At first there was no way I could do a full force side kick to a bag. Shit was gay for a while.. My elbows have always been able to take extreme abuse no problem tho
 
Oh, but it feels so good to condition them when you have that bone mass :D

Plus you feel like your legs are lethal weapons everywhere you go.

Bitches are fucking dumb, end of discussion. Maybe if i met one that actually used logic in her thinking instead of just blurting shit out to make a point or just to hear herself talk then i would give them credit, until then....not a single fuck will be given.
