I merged this with the social thread.

Lost pills are a pain to find. Where did you have it last? Those suckers can travel quite a distance even on carpet.

Holy shit. I just realized that this month makes 10 years since my first time rolling. I rolled for the first time right around Vday in 2004. I'm thinking it might have been the 13th.

Damn.

Now I feel both nostalgic and old at the same time. 10 years... That's just insanity. I'm gonna be 30 in October! 8o

Creeping up to 30 is scary, lol.

Yeah tell me about it.

This month is actually bittersweet for me... I have my disability hearing coming up here on Thursday, its the 8 year anniversary of my best friend dying on the 25th, I'm reflecting on the past 10 years and all of the things I've done wrong... and yeah, I'm pretty depressed actually. 2004 was the beginning of a long and drawn out decline that peaked last year and is now going the other direction, albeit EXTREMELY slowly. I pretty much feel like the last 10 years of my life I've been stuck in one semi-constant manic state and now I'm moving into more stable/depressed territory. I'm not really sure which was better to be honest. :|

But yeah, I didn't celebrate my birthday last year (I started my benzo taper and quit drinking and smoking all on 9/17 and my birthday was 10/2) so this year, its pretty much mandatory, especially since its the big 30.

Definitely party it up until you've forgotten you're 30 lol.
I haven't celebrated any birthdays in a few years. Well 2 years ago I did a gram of mephedrone by myself. In fact it was such a pitiful night I didn't even finish the gram, I just went to bed lol.

Sounds like something that I would have/probably have done. I rarely used drugs with others besides MDMA (I had a "special friend" for that) and alcohol if you want to include that. I don't remember my birthday when I had mephedrone access so its quite likely that is what I was doing for it :p

So I get to see DJ S3RL in a couple months who is my all time favorite DJ for one simple reason, his productions are what pulled me in the rave scene. At the 1st rave I ever went to the opening DJ played Pretty Rave Girl(his 2010 edit) for his third track and it just sucked me in. I have honestly never been so excited for a show in my life and can't wait for the date to come! What was that one show that got you guys beyond excited and anxiously waiting for?

EDIT: I forgot to mention I've been dying to see him for the past 3 and a half years. <3

Eric Prydz just announce a North American tour, I pray he makes a stop in Vancouver. Like omg <3

hope he comes back but wouldn't be surprised if the only west coast stops are in vegas / LA

jeremy olander and fehrplay had a b2b set in van (last october)

also fehrplay came back again to van last week

^ Hopefully he hits up van or seattle, I saw him at Paradiso and was mind blown haha. I was gonna go to Fehrplay last week but ended up just chilling with friends instead, did you go to it?

Yup, fehrplay was there for almost 3 hours.
Opening track was pryda - sol (appropriate for valentines day!)
Also played a lot of his own tracks... Incognito, I can't stop it, indigo, night ride, phantom, etc

Saw him along with Fehrplay and Jeremy Oleander back in nov, one of my fav shows of 2013. Saw fehrplay at a club setting a few weeks back just as awesome.

I'm really excited to see Deep Dish this weekend theyre playing a free secret show at the Mid this weekend. Although I hate the venue but its free and its there first show since breakingup

Happy news deserves happy music. I went to see the judge for my disability hearing and he granted my request to have my disability approved based on my records alone RIGHT before I came in the door and had just let the clerk and my rep know!!!

Nice I'm a big happy hardcore junkie and I've never seen S3rl (He doesn't really come to the UK). Have a sick one.

Punk & ATB - Ecstasy. Talk about whipping out the classics! Punk is one of my all time favourite trance slammers. Loving the trance coming out of Ilan Bluestone lately (see spheres - fucking slammer) and boom jinx actually. Been to a fair few trance events now and I'm growing more and more fond. Above & Beyond always have the most magical moments which melt me into a puddle of love.

Might be seeing Dash Berlin & Sub Focus soon - good shit! Sub focus is my fave dnb producers, the vibes get me buzzing.

Punk and Ecstasy are two of my all time favorites. Ferry Corsten is one of my favorite producers and DJs along with Armin. I used to spin hard dance but I'd mix in peak hour trance in my sets. I loved following something nice and low key like Ecstasy with something like
