^So why is coke supposedly half as cheap in the UK then? It's sure as hell not more pure on average.

prolly because your paying 120 for half a gram of blow (at the street level), and the other half a gram is cut, the chart is adjusted for purity.

I dunno the numbers, but it comes into the USA @ $20/g, a few hops in the wholesale market, and its $40, the it goes to local distributors, who mark it up to $60. Street level people get it for $60 and stomp on till they have 2g and then sell that for $60.

Thats just an example, but the idea is the same.

that's cool-shit, and good for him. unfortunately, such ppl are few and far between. OZ's of the stuff were like $1k-$2k IIRC from my college days("pure" / "shiny rocks" stuff), so $120 for a gram of "raw" is completely in-line. the ppl disagreeing are either
- not recognizing that their "$40-70/g" is weight-shorted and cut-as-hell, or
- they're dealers and/or close to dealers, and are ignorant that they're not paying mrkt prices

meh...- this isn't "pricing" in any sense that violates blua AFAIK, this is generic, drugs-as-commodity discussion and not 'sourcing/pricing' in any practical sense.

Ya it's fucked up. I don't like to mess with coke because I've seen so many bad connects. And somehow lost any few good connects who didn't fuck their shit up. I think 90+% of the cocaine is dirty as hell, so I guess there is an average. I think cutting a perfectly good product that is already cut with levamisole before it gets here is a shame :( I don't mess around with enough people who do it, so I'm not aware of any averages.... But I wasn't "close" to the dealer in anyway, and he made the bags right weight. IDK I think people who cut their already cut shit are fucktards :?

But I guess for every guy who sells uncut to his valued clientel, there's AT LEAST one who sells some 1-5% to his customers he never wants to see again. So we come to an average of 50% ?

Again, another factor I should consider is that my experience around prices was in Houston, which I think may have considerably lower prices than many other places (from what I hear)

again Dallas prices would be more in line with 1k

buddy of mine used to get em for ~850$

i really could care less about coke, its an over rated drug, but 120 for a G and 2000 for an O is fucking preposterous
 
if the prices are adjusted for purity how does a gram of coke cost half the price in the UK than it does in the USA?

we probably pay more per gram for our 5% cocaine - 95% random powder than most Americans would pay for decent quality gear.

I'm pretty sure that what they're doing is determining that the average mass of a $20 bag is 0.167 grams. That's the only way I can see arriving at a sum of $120 a gram.
 
a $20 bag @ 0.167g(PURE) is fair IMO, but wtf do i know? anything i've said is wrt "market" prices, but ppl pay anywhere from like ~$25 to ~$300 a gram, once prices are corrected to $/pure-gram, depending where/who/etc the situation entails.

whatever, i'm far more interested in the national disparities than in hearing what every bl'er has paid for their shit :|
