Doing drugs for a long term has taught me several key lessons:
1) If you are buying pills, TEST them first - if your dealer takes responsibility for his product he or she shouldn't mind
2) If you can't test them then at least get a report from someone you TRUST (this does NOT include pillreports.com which is biased by dealers)
3) Have benzos such as valium or xanax on hand for your comedown in case shit hits the fan, or in case you get a pill which isn't MDMA and makes you feel unwell, or failing that an anti-psychotic such as serequel. Be up front with your doctor and you can probably get a script for seroquel as a PRN (benzos are harder as they are abusable and addictive) but seroquel can abort the worst of bad MDMA/Trips!
4) Try and minimise your sleep deprevation. Know when to call it a day. Sleep dep is just as bad for you as the drugs themselves!! Get some sleeping tablets from your doctor, i recommend either Nitrazepam or Zopiclone. A few of those at the end of the night and you'll sleep like a baby and wake up feeling MUCH better
5) Moderation. My rule is to keep it to weekends only. Once you start doing pills (OR in my case meth) during the week you are in trouble.
6) Nourishment. If you are hitting the drugs hard then pop a multivitamin every day. And before you crash after a bender eat a couple of bananas - they contain magnesium, potassium and tryptophan which are 3 things your body will be craving, plus they are soft in texture and easy to force down if you dont actually feel like eating,
Good luck!
