The Child Within

Life a twisted path before me
Each step a new one
But the biggest one was the step that I am on right now
The child with in me begins to squirm
Wanting out in this big world
I just want to hold her in for a little bit longer
I am not ready for that part of me to be in the world
I am hoping that it will just decide to be a false move and stay
Then the next step will be in vision
But...what if the step I am on is the right one?
What if I am ready for this big world thing more than I thought?
O God Help Me!
Please!
