This is one of my favourite australian films. A comedy/drama about a very australian family, fighting for their right to keep their home, which is literally next door to an airport, which in turn, needs the land to expand.
The david vs goliath court battle of this film is just as seemingly futile as the one in erin brockovich, but far more entertaining.
Made by the comedic geniuses behind the classic the late show, frontline, the olden days, bargearse and funky squad, and contains eric bana's film debut. I highly recommend this.

I've seen it over ten times easily, and always loved it until the last time, when for some reason it didn't seem as good .

I think I saw it one too many times .

I come across it occasionally, late at night, on some channel or another and it would definitely be well recieved.

Bargearse and Olden Days just came out recently on one DVD. So worth the price.

But anyways, back on topic...
