This is just written off of the top of my head, as I am VERY bored.

The captain makes the ship set sail,
But the captain doesn't know what will make his ship fail,
But his journey remains, even though he knows it needs therapy,
I know this captain, although he has never been a friend to me.

He's smiling at everything, I can see his smile almost a mile away,
I can smell his rum, as if he wishes his ship just wouldn't sail,
His ship is going down, in a sea of sound,
He's stuck, and he's looking around.

I'm wondering, if the captain sees this as a mistake,
And back to his rum, another drink he takes,
He thinks that this is something that he can't change,
But we all know that it just takes guts to turn the page.

Captain, please set sail,
Captain, please don't fail,
You're ship is ready,
You're a friend to me.

I like the making a character for a concept in one's mind. I identify alot w confusing voyage. Thanks so much for sharing.

Your words sing out to me..so it's nice to really hear them instead of just read them.
