The Birth of a Tear

As objects spin around
this troubled world of lies,
Hoisting humans high
as false wings let them fly,

Until they plummet,
for these obstacles are pundits,
They seek only who dunnit
as they crash through our vanilla sky,

Yet all I see is the fun of it
and your sweet peppermint eyes.
I dive into disillusioned decadence
as these emotions collide,

One lion, two turtle dove,
oh how wise I may become.
For now I'll scribe these scrambled thoughts,
I'll let this paper tear me apart
as I seek out my queen of hearts.

Will love ever stumble
or let this humble man call upon it??
As two children simply know
the truth they'll soon forget,

That to have wisdom is to feel
the cold bite of time's foul vigor.
And to fall is to become old
as cold turns hurridly into bitter.

In the same way you choose to sit or stand,
a boy becomes a man,
It's hard to breathe free in this age
sans a solid helping hand,

Of love in your life as
frozen butter is to a knife,
A stalwart shield of courage
around your heart against the night.

For as two heads are better than one,
Two hearts might one day become,
One path through cold, bitter weather,
I plead one day I'll know any better.

This was way excellent
It has a lot of emotion and intelligence in it; it's emotional but not chaotic, a fine balance.
The first 5 stanzas stand out as the best; towards the end I think it's a little confusing how the content relates to the first part of the poem, and the words seem a little too vague and repetitious, but it picks right up at the end and delivers like hell in the last stanza.
Again this is excellent
Thanks!
