The Bikie Wars

^^^521g of meth... well looks like we won't be seeing ice around for a while. not that i was sad to see the back of that drug. what happened to the days where bikies were dead against it? unless they're using their terms interchangeably, and actually meant speed... in which case, i am gravely disappointed, as there is not enough pseudo-based speed anywhere anymore!!!! /rant

Umm coke is made syntheticly. Im pressuming what u meant was that they can start with coca leaves or tropinone which both can be synthed into cocaine.

Half a kilo of ice isnt that much IMO. Just think of how many users there are and it makes little to no impact on anyone. They will be always fighting over drugs no matter what happens.

Apparently they knocked a security guard out, punched on with the manager, and made them promise to remain tight lipped about the incident.

While I'm not sure if its still the case, but I'm aware that the security company at the venue you mention had some interesting connections and predilictions of their own a year or so back, so there may be far more to it than that.

yeah it wouldn't surprise me...same wanker is responsible for the running of quite a few venues in that area. he offered me work one week (i use my sec. licence as ID), and the next refused me entry somewhere else. tosser!

No, I am talking about the kind of coke you attempt to freebase and it turns into mushy, yellow liquid..
No coca leaf compound to begin with, all completely made from chemicals which, when synthesised, mimic the effects of traditional cocaine identically.

Loophole allowing bikie gangs to buy thousands of cold tablets to make illegal drugs

Rule change ... despite buyers having to produce their drivers licences to buy these drugs there is no cross-checking

A LOOPHOLE being exploited by bikie gangs to buy thousands of over-the-counter flu and cold tablets to turn into illegal drugs urgently needs to be closed, pharmacists said yesterday.

Six kilos of pseudoephedrine-based tablets, which can be turned into the drug ice, were allegedly found by police who raided a drug laboratory linked to the Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang on the South Coast at Bingi on Tuesday.

Officers with Strike Force Kook, who dismantled the drug factory, also allegedly found 100 litres of precursor chemicals which they said was enough to manufacture a large commercial quantity of methylamphetamine, The Daily Telegraph reports.

The chemicals were being cooked up in woks in an industrial kitchen on the motel-style property and police yesterday made a plea for information from the public about the purchase of the massive amount of over-the-counter cold and flu tablets.

Pharmacy Guild national president Kos Sclavos said co-called "pseudo-runners" still had it too easy.

He called on the Government to make mandatory a voluntary system called Project STOP that links all pharmacists and provides a web-based real-time database of customers requesting products containing pseudoephedrine.

He said that in NSW, despite buyers having to produce their drivers licences to buy these drugs, it could take up to a month before pharmacists handed the information to police.

"There is no way of knowing someone has not gone on to the next shop and the next and bought more tablets using false IDs," Mr Sclavos said.

"By the time the information is recorded it is too late.

"These criminal elements are very clever. The bikies don't go into shops wearing their leathers which would raise alarm bells."

Mr Sclavos said they were also proficient in faking flu symptoms complete with nasal congestion.

Under Project STOP, the pharmacist is instantly able to verify if a purchase has already been made against a particular ID and police are automatically alerted to any suspicious purchase.

Since Project STOP went on line in November 2005, pharmacists have refused 26,000 suspect sales nationally but in NSW only 65 per cent of the state's 1500 pharmacists have signed up for the voluntary system.

The Daily Telegraph yesterday bought five packets of medication containing pseudoephedrine from five pharmacists in Surry Hills and Darlinghurst in one hour. Each shop recorded details of the drivers licence but there was no system of cross-checking.

NSW Health Minister John Della Bosca was aware of Project STOP and has been looking at the effectiveness of the system, a spokesman said yesterday.

Meanwhile, police have appealed for information from the public following the release of three people arrested over the alleged drug factory at Bingie.

cops raided some houses around my area in granville and auburn and found large amounts of cocaine and ice. it was on the news, the cocaine was in large fist sized rocks (yum)
must say the charlie here in western sydney just seems to get better and easier to get no matter how many busts they make round here. prob not the same for the rest of australia seeing that sydney is the coke capital.

NEWS: 11.4.09 - Man charged after bikie squad raid

A 49-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with a range of drugs and weapons offences after a police raid in southwest Sydney allegedly uncovered $140,000 worth of the drug ice, seven firearms and more than $200,000 in cash.

Police from Strike Force Raptor, set up to target illegal bikie gangs, raided a house on Lincluden Place in Airds at 3pm (AEST) yesterday.

During a search of the home, police say they found 450 grams of methylamphetamine, or ice, worth $140,000, and an amount of cannabis and cocaine.

They said they also seized seven registered firearms, what they say was a large quantity of ammunition, a stun gun and $200,000 in cash.

Comanchero gang colours and a Harley Davidson motorcycle were also confiscated in the raid.

The 49-year-old man was arrested at the address and later charged with four drugs offences, and one count of possessing a prohibited weapon.

He has also been charged with two counts of dealing with the proceeds of crime in connection with the alleged cash haul and the seized Harley Davidson motorcycle.

The man has been refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today.

A second man allegedly associated with Sydney's bikie gangs will also appear in the court, after being stopped for a random breath test at Heathcote.

Police said the 46-year-old man was stopped on the Princess Highway at about 10pm (AEST) on Thursday, with checks revealing he was an alleged bikie gang associate.

"Various searches of the man and the vehicle then allegedly located a large sum of cash, a small quantity of steroids, and other property," police said.

The man faces charges for drug, property and traffic offences, as well as dealing with property suspected of being proceeds of crime.

Since a fatal bikie brawl at Sydney Airport on March 22, police from Strike Force Raptor have arrested more than 15 people with links to the outlaw gangs.

The bikie members or associates face a range of charges, including firearms, drug, traffic and affray offences.

NEWS: 14.4.09 - Notorious bikie gang member charged with affray in Sydney

POLICE have charged a member of the Notorious bikie gang over a brawl in Sydney's red light district.

Tonight's arrest in Sydney's west is the latest of more than 20 arrests since Strike Force Raptor was established less than a month ago following the fatal bikie brawl at Sydney Airport.

Police say detectives raided a home in Indigo Way, Prospect, about 4.30pm (AEST).

During their search, a 23-year-old man arrived at the premises and was arrested in relation to a fight that allegedly took place in Kings Cross, in inner Sydney, early Sunday morning.

Detectives allege the man is a member of the Notorious outlaw motorcycle gang.

The man was taken into custody, questioned by police and charged with affray.

He is expected to appear in Blacktown Local Court tomorrow.

Strike Force Raptor was established following the bikie brawl at Sydney Airport on March 22, which resulted in the death of Anthony Zervas.

His brother Peter Zervas, a Hells Angels member, was gunned down days later outside his Sydney unit block but survived the attack.

More than 20 bikie gang members have been arrested and charged over various drugs, weapons and assault charges in the past three weeks.

Mark my words, this'll bomb on privacy grounds just like the benzo hotline.

Just a word of advice... flashing Mr. Goldtop at the door is not the equivalent of flashing a freddy. If you're young enough to be asked for ID, take it from someone who, in a past life, worked doors; keep it to yourself if you do doors as well (and I know its a combined goldtop licence card now, so guard and crowd controller will both be there presumably), as you're going to be held to a higher standard than others if you fuck up, and you can expect to pay for it.

As a guard, i am required to carry my license with me when I work. Most of the time i do go out, it's after work. So it's already on me, and is ready to produce.
Also, as a female, I have never - on any occasion - 'fucked up' and been made to leave a venue. Ever.

Thanks for the sage advice however 8)

NEWS: 17.4.09 - Alleged Bandido associate 'had stash of weapons'

AN alleged associate of outlaw motorcycle gang the Bandidos had a stash of weapons and drugs at his property, a court has heard.

Glenn Reginald Fountain, 34, applied for bail in Geelong Magistrates' Court.

Acting Sgt Wayne Dennehy told the court that Mr Fountain was believed to be heavily associated with the Bandidos.

The court heard Mr Fountain considered slain Bandido Ross Brand, shot dead outside Geelong's Bandidos headquarters, on October 22, his best friend.

Sgt Dennehy said police believed Mr Fountain, of Moolap, was a member of the X Team, an associate Bandidos group, but those in it were not "patched" (full members).

The court heard Mr Fountain also worked voluntarily at a motorcycle mechanic's for a "fully patched" Bandidos member.

Sgt Dennehy said Mr Fountain was arrested last Thursday after police visited his home to serve a witness summons and found cannabis plants growing. They could not find anyone but returned to find Mr Fountain in the backyard with another man. Sgt Dennehy said eight plants had been cut down, and an air rifle and a .22 rifle were there.

Inside a caravan, police allegedly found 5.7g of amphetamine, a sawn-off shotgun, shotgun cartridges, a dagger, pocket knife, a pen pistol, ammunition, a crossbow and drug paraphernalia, the court heard.

On the stove was 300g of cannabis. Mr Fountain allegedly told police he was a chronic cannabis user.

Magistrate Ron Saines will hand down his decision today.

NEWS: 16.4.09 - Gun, drugs, lizard seized in raid at Kurnell

A SHOTGUN, drugs, stolen vehicles, snakes and a lizard were among the items seized during police raids that led to the arrest of an alleged Sydney bikie.

Officers attached to Strike Force Raptor, established to investigate bikie gang activity in New South Wales, raided three properties on Prince Charles Parade at Kurnell, in Sydney's south, today.

A 43-year-old man, allegedly a member of the Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang, was arrested during the raids.

"Strike Force Raptor detectives located and seized a shotgun, a large amount of ammunition, along with three motor vehicles, three motorcycles, a caravan, a boat, and a jet ski all believed to be stolen," police said.

Police also seized "a small amount of white powder, capsules, and a small amount of chemicals believed to be precursors used in the manufacture of amphetamines, along with two snakes and a chameleon lizard".

The man is being questioned by police. No charges have yet been laid.

Since its formation last month, Strike Force Raptor officers have made 37 arrests and laid 90 charges.

Police launched a new crack down on bikie gang activity after Anthony Zervas, 29, was killed during a brawl between members of the Comancheros and Hells Angels gangs at Sydney Airport on March 22.

Since then, there have been several driveby shootings which police have linked to bikie gangs, and a number of men have been charged with a range or affray, firearm and drug offences.

& i did not know bikies were into reptile pets ;)

^^^^

Every bikie is being targetted even ones who are not are as involved ..

The police are busting anyone and everyone linked to bike gangs even if they are not involved in anything , just to show the general public that they are doing something ..

Dealers will use the excuse oh because of the war the price has gone up or similar and some people will say oh theres plenty of stuff around because all the bikies want to get rid of their stashes before the police show up and are selling it very cheap & then some people will say nothings changed and business as usual.

All bikie gangs are being watched so for them to continue with making and selling drugs is just stupid and they are going to need to have non members do all the work for them.

Things are bad all over , there are no really good pills worth writing home about and newbies saying 40mg mdxx pills are awesome is a great joke ...This is why I am on a break ...

There is a big weed drought at the moment but you can still get some really nice adelaide or queensland hydro if you keep searching for it.

It does not say who he is but I know of only one rebels member in Kurnell... The Sargent At Arms , I have met him before as I have a few friends in that area and the selling of locally captured snakes , lizards & turtles is one way of making money when you live in such a shit hole as Kurnell.
