The Big & Dandy Nootropics Thread

Status
Not open for further replies.
i took 1 gram today with my stack.
Im sure it had some minor effects but nothing i couldnt get from a low dose of diazepam. I was expecting a bit more euphoria.

Try taking >1.5g. I find a 1.5g dose gives me a very pleasant euphoric high. Diazepam is more sedating and chilled out, whereas phenibut reduces anxiety but also makes me feel active and euphoric. I suspect some dopaminergic activity in phenibut. Phenethylamine is part of the structure after all.

It takes 3-4 hours to fully kick in for me although I can usually feel it within 45 minutes.

Hi all,

I just began to research Nootropics, and not knowing a lot about this topic, I wanted to ask you for advice on a good beginner's stack.

I ordered Pyritinol (400mg), Vinpocetine (10mg), Huperzine A (100mcg), and Aniracetam (750mg). What would be the best combination of all of these?

Also, I read that it is best to take a choline supplement with a -acetam. If this is true, what supplement would be the best for this regimen?

Thanks so much for your help!

I am on piracetam for two weeks... 1800mg in morning and after 6 hours another 1800mg... last five days I eat two eggs every morning.I heard something about piracetam not having effect or anti effect without extra choline.I experienced some fatigue loss and zombie like mindstate but I am not sure if it was from piracetam or weed and fact that I go to sleep in morning and wake up after dark.I am piracetam noob and I want to enhance my hearing & creativity to maximum.

Thanks ^... what is best supplements combo for ultimate hearing & creativity? ( maximum music intensity & audio detial on trips ) I want to make my hearing centers tuned like race engine.

Don't think I would be focussing that specifically, just take a nice regimen of racetam, choline precursors, alcar, stuff like that.
If you're really committed to tuning your hearing centers I'm afraid the only option left after adopting the supplements is to go in recluse and meditate. I have 'absolute pitch' for instance and am quite sensitive to sound, while the nootropics can be beneficial for this a great deal the true eye - no - ear-opener was going into retreat and actually re-tune into
my inner self. At the end of the week I did this I was at the prime of my auditive sensitivity, so you really would have to clear your environment to clear your mind as a preparation for this sensitivity to really awaken.
I understand if you can't just go and take a break from everything but hopefully you see my point that supplements can take you only so far, like an influence of 25% while the rest is still depending on the hectics or peace in your head.
If you're ready to commit yourself to some serious nourishment of peace of mind, then it should become more and more clear what you are capable of hearing and capable of creating.

Good luck friend

I am psychedelic dnb maniac with fetish for sub/infra bass freqencies and hi end audio. After many trips and meditations I know how to concetrate, but I want more, more intensity, sound detial and wider hearing range.I would do anything for it.Nothing makes me more happy than listening dnb on 1mg+ lsd trips concentrating on 16-25hz area, that is better than sex, better than double drop, better than anything.Really, tell my all you know... image that you have infinite money

I can absolutely see where you're coming from! That does sound fantastic though I think you might want to give EBM a try, or like some serious dubstep!

what is ebm??? I love dubstep,my second most favorite music.Breakbeat,Breakcore,Raggacore,Jungle,Ragga Jungle,Psytrance,Goa-Trance,Dark Psytrance,Fidget House... anything with heavy sub bass or tripy sounds ( wobble!! )
But I cant dance to any techno, house or trance... I have Amen break syndrom :D

Today I started using lecithin with piracetam... the effects are crazy! It boosts hearing intensity like magic, music sounds 40% more loud, much more detialed, sounds are crisp, bass i didnt even heard is now heard without problem.Piracetam & lecithin have very powerfull for me,colors are more colorfull,I started to notice things in my room I never noticed, every thing looks bigger.I feel more energetic, have better mood ( euphoric )... first hour after it hit me I felt something like mind rush.Very nice,I love this stuff... is there anything more I can take to have even more powerfull hearing effects?

I eating 2-3 eggs every morning but that was nothing compared to lecithin.I take 2400mg with 3600mg lecithin every morning and 6 hours after.

^ I think you could enhance this ability by changing up the music you listen to when on this combo, and listening to as broad a range of richly textured musical timbres as possible. The more you stimulate this neural pathway, especially with your now enhanced acetylcholine levels, the more well developed your sense of hearing will become.

hmmm... thats very interesting what you said. But it isnt that simple, drum n bass have very wide range of freqencies... from 5-30hz low end to 21.000/24.000hz hi end... dnb is biggest mix of other music styles from all music styles :D so there is shitload of textures attached to broken beat and deep sub-bassline.I think dnb is multi-vitamin in world of music textures.I listen all dnb sub genres... Jump Up,Techstep,Darkstep,Hardstep,Liquid,Atmosferic,Old School,Nu School,Dancefloor,Drumstep,Neuro-Funk,Technoid,Jazzstep... like I said, its multivitamin

^ Funny you should mention that, I've always found drum n' bass to be a very thorough cortical stimulus, for lack of a better way of putting it. It has frequencies that are processed by your sense of touch, and even stimulate some peripheral touch receptors that aren't commonly stimulated at all. I've always had a sense this genre of music was exercising my brain, in some way, and have had good results putting it on in the background (not too loudly, though) while I've been studying. I've definitely heard a lot of dnb that I wouldn't quite call beautiful or melodic, and as with any genre, some of it is just plain bad. But I really feel the way it hits the auditory cortex is conducive to improving thinking and memory recall.

dnb is special becose it is music created by stoners/rollers/tripers for similiar people.Incredibly fast futuristic & complex sounds for over analyzing ears of people on acid.Drum n bass is psychoactive... there is this dnb duo Future Prophecies that specialize on psychedelic side of drum n bass.... their track Warlords Rising induced +4 trip for whole time I first heard it.Very spiritual,it have religious quality for me.

"very thorough cortical stimulus" that means boring? sorry,I dont have very good English

"It has frequencies that are processed by your sense of touch, and even stimulate some peripheral touch receptors that aren't commonly stimulated at all. I've always had a sense this genre of music was exercising my brain, in some way" your right,I respect you for your ability to perceive these things even when you are not hardcore junglist =D
