Lee Crost's AntiAging-Cognitive Regimen

Aside from exercise & diet (and until nanotech, gene & stem therapy catch up) I believe various compounds exist today that can make a dramatic impact on our health, such as greatly reducing our risk of disease, helping to slow, maintain if not reverse some aspects of aging, and even going as far as enhancing our own physical & mental abilities. In order to keep up with the latest in bioresearch I take several compounds, which in my opinion is based on reasonable scientific studies. This list changes as new research is done daily and to keep my life more interesting. Also some dosages will vary based on what is needed depending on my day. I started a simpler version of this regimen over 15 years ago and have been blood testing regularly since.

Caution: This is my own personal regimen. I strongly recommend everyone do their own research and consulting their healthcare professional before taking anything listed below. Also this list is not complete I still have much to add.

How much do you spend for a month of all this stuff. It's got to be over a grand. Most people simply cannot afford an exotic stack like that. And I know alot about drugs and whatnot, but Ihaven't even heard of some of the stuff on that list. Alagebrium chloride, Benfotiamine, Mitoquinone, Ubiquinol, Ubiquinone, Decylubiquinone- never heard of them.

I was going to say, I haven't ever heard about close to half of those... quite a few I can guess about, but I've never actually heard of them.

I also take malatonin nightly and theanine regularlu, kratom tea from time to time.

All the amino acids I mentioned are pertinant to healthy congnizant funtion for sure. I like GABA too, its subtle but just like a low dose phenibut sparkle. I think I may just have a clinical GABA deficiency. I need money for more of this shit. LOW dose taurine's good to, actaully mellow but focused.

I want modafanil again, it's such a ripoff too.
I also take n-aceyl cysteine because I know my live needs recovery after being an alchohlic for an entire year. :(

Great stuff though.

Glad to see some people appreciate Taurine, GABA and L-Theanine. So often people seem to overlook how relaxing these amino acids can be and instead only want to try potent downers like Phenibut (and risk addiction).

Niacinamide and Inositol are 2 more nice mild, relaxing supplements if one needs to chill out.

I wonder how well Bacopa and Ashwagandha work for anxiety and stress.

Personally, I think Neurontin is one of the baddest ass downers around. Wish I had a script for it :(

Most items I pay near cost so it's not so high.

Alagebrium chloride is ALT-711 a drug seeking FDA approval that reverses some aspects of glycation damage.
Benfotiamine is a form of vitamin B-1.
Mitoquinone, Ubiquinol, Ubiquinone, Decylubiquinone are just different forms of CoQ10.

^I have a strong suspicion based on various medical journals that amino acid deficiency through food sources is a catalyst for most medical disorders, a short search on google will reveal more than I could possibly elaborate to you here now. We're talking all the big money makers too, SSRI's, ADD meds, Bi-Polar meds, Atypical Antipsychoticss.

In America this is common because of our pharm companies and the fact that their in bed with the doctors. Ever wonder why nootropics were so popular in in foreign countries before they ever gained a similar stature on our shores?

Started a few weeks ago, hoping to add to it once I get some more loot.

I wake up with :
1 cup green tea
1g piracetam
250mg CDP choline
2g fish oil
1 multivit/multimin
5mg vinpocetine
120mg ginkgo biloba
1 vitamin b complex
sometimes I redose piracetam during the day, sometimes not.

I'm considering adding more herbs to my daily supplement/nootropic regimen. The supplements and nootropics I take are fine but I figure herbs can have certain unique benefits (like being anti-bacterial). Right now the only herb I use daily is Rhodiola (unless you count Tobacco Snuff). I'm looking into are Yerba Mate, Ashwagandha, Bacopa, Ginseng, Chaste Tree berries and Betel. Any thoughts on what herbs are the healthiest to use daily?

^^^ Yerba Mate is wonderful, it feels very smooth and has a pronounced moodlift that I do not find in tea or coffee. However, I seem to rapidly develop a tolerance to it, much more so than other caffeinated beverages, so you may not find much benefit from extended daily use.

I agree about the yerba mate... good stuff. Very smooth, and more euphoric than other caffeinated herbs/beverages or caffeine by itself. I've only used betel nut of the others you mentioned... I don't really like it. I may have never managed to get full effects, but what effects I did get gave me a semi-transparent stimulation that was not satisfying at all, and gave me a funny feeling of strain behind the eyes. This is a feeling I can never describe, but it always tells me to not use whatever it is that makes me feel that way. I get that feeling when I'm starting to get sick.

I've been reading about a plant source of Caffeine and other Xanthines which sounds even better than Yerba called Guayusa. Anyone tried it? I heard Guayusa was occasionally added to Ayahuasca by Indians.

Has anyone used SAM-e lately? And is it true the much cheaper supplement TMG (which as I recall turns into SAM-e in the body) can be used as a substitute for SAM-e?

Lastly, I was wondering if you guys have any idea or experience with how any of the following supplements/nootropics/plants combine with psychedelics:

SAM-e, DMAE, Centrophenoxine, Rhodiola, Lecithin, 5-HTP, Deprenyl, Amineptine, Ginseng, Bacopa, Ashwagandha, Kava, Kanna

As always thanks for all the feedback to my questions and ideas. I very much appreciate you guys and value your knowledge and opinions. I've lurked around a lot of psychonaut and health/fitness forums over the years but very few are as quality as this site.

Kava extract capsules were sufficient enough to help me get to sleep at T+10:00 after dosing LSD. I generally find the effect of these capsules far less profound than that of the actual beverage though. I sometimes wonder if the drink would have been more effective in that context.

5-HTP made little/no difference in combination with LSD, but it did seem to help prevent the headaches I sometimes used to get with 2C-E and 2C-I if I dosed before and after the trip.

Kava capsules tend to be so weak because the companies that sell them use very low quality, old root. I'd be careful consuming any storebought Kava capsules if I were you...Are you aware there was a scandal uncovered where it was found that some of these companies were using toxic parts of the root that can cause liver damage? The way to go with Kava is def. ordering fresh root grown on a farm in Hawaiia or another tropical island. No one here can tell me if the 40% Kavalactone paste is any good?

What recreational value does Amineptine have? I sure wish I'd had the chance to try it back when i was available. Years ago there was a small wave of abuse of it in European countries like France. And ever since then it's been impossible to get in America. As I recall one website used to claim to sell it and wanted a ridiculously high price for it. Most info I've read on Amineptine came from Biopsychiatry.com and they made it sound like one of the ultimate stimulant/antidepressants when it comes to a clean euphoria.

Although Amineptine can't easily be gotten Tianeptine can. And as I recall Tianeptine is related. I've seen it available many places online without a prescription. Although I hear Tianeptine isn't nearly as euphoric and stimulating. I wonder why Amineptine is stimulating yet most Tricyclics I assume are sedating.

I have fantasies about what it would be like to combine Amineptine with a Tryptamine psychedelic, as supposedly Tricyclics potentiate certain psychedelics a lot. If not Tianeptine, I'd like to combine an MAO like Tranylcypromine (which even on its own is said to be extremely euphoric), Moclobemide or Deprenyl with Psilocybe, HBW/MG or DMT. However, if I had the chance to I wouldn't try any of these combos unless literature and people could convince me they're safe.

Have you guys heard of Tranylcypromine? I learned about it a couple weeks ago. It used to be widely abused for its speedy euphoric effects and even at extremely high doses no toxicity was noted in the addicts. As I recall Tranylcypromine is in some way structurally related to Amphetamines too. Weird huh?

Anyone tried Lithium Orotate, Dilantin, Memantine or Amantadine?
