You and I have similar taste in movies we like to watch fucked up. Existenz is awesome IMO, but for some reason it's super divisive. I think Izo (my favorite of Miike's) is probably the same way. I gave Avalon a skip but now I think I'll check it out. It's on Netflix Instant at the moment ... damn, so is I'm a Cyborg But That's Ok.Existenz (existential virtual reality film with grotesque bio computers, one of my favourite films of all time)
Izo (japanese film about a samurai who is shot through time to various horrible events as punishment for an unknown crime)
I could list more but I'm hungry
I thinkm we wil have to agree to disagree on that one I thought waking life was much better than a scanner darkly but im not a keeano reeves fan.Scanner Darkly & Waking Life were both rotoscoped by the same company. Personally I think it worked a lot better in A Scanner Darkly.
I like to watch Whinnie the Pooh while tripping.
Seriously. Try it.
Me and my buddy were watchin scott pilgrim vs.the world last night and i've always loved that movie, its seemed surreal at points even when i was sober, and god damn it seems like it'd be trippy. Anyone seen this movie while trippin, cuz if you have i'd really like to know how that went.
dont like TV on psychedelics or dissociatives, but once i watched "enter the void" on MXE. probably pretty much a expierience on its own, but on drugs it was just a step too intense.
I watched enter the void on mxe too on a pretty nice strong dose alone with no lights on. My god was that one hell of a mind fuck. Like you said it was extreamly intense and at times it felt like I was actualy experiencing those events my self.
