The Big & Dandy Methoxetamine Thread-10th Dose-Addiction? But I'm only on it 24/7...

well, on coming down my tactile sensors seem to be overstressed. my fingertips feel like i'd polish them with grinding paper for hours. they are sensitive and everything fells like a rough paper texture, even my own skin. and there is this stinging sensation in my fingertips the whole day after MXE, which is rather annoying when you have to work with a mouse. feels like thousands of tiny needles got stuck in my fingertips.
i also have this in my toes but there its less of a problem, and well.. my beard also feels very strange and stingy.

Well then it's exactly what i experienced, too. It doesn't hurt but it's annoying, especially the days after. I just don't have it the following day but even some more days after the last dose.

the music i really like on mxe is the soundtrack from the movie drive. It feels like that soundtrack is made for this drugs. especially College & Electric Youth - A Real Hero.
i agree portishead is also awesome on mxe. my favorites for portishead are the rip and when i play machinehead i always start robodancing when the strange part kicks in.

I get some pretty crazy audio hallucinations when trying to sleep after doing MXE some nights. The day I went to Warped Tour and heard bands play was on of the strangest. I came home after warped tour and decided to do some MXE (hadn't done anything that day) and went through my usual routine. I noticed though that it constantly sounded like there was a band playing music outside my window.

I seem to get audio hallucinations like this often when on MXE. They can sometimes be annoying as I KNOW it's just the MXE.

Also, I'm curious if anyone else gets the intense visual hallucinations I get.... When I'm on my computer at night in my room and it's dark, I tend to tunnel vision looking at my screen. In the corners of my eyes though I always see photo realistic events that I saw throughout the day. Like for instance if I had work the same day then came home and did some MXE for the night, I would see situations and people from work in the corners of my eyes and the actual place I was. Turning to look at it makes it disappear though.

Very odd. This only happens in a really dark room though.

I get that happen as well. i also get that corner of the eye thing from all night stim benders and things, MDMA. much more on MXE though, i end up looking left and right a few times feeling the presence of people in my room, voices, mental. sit there and random things seem to develop voices and shit. MXE is like comfortable crazy-ness. if that sort of thing happened sober i think itd scared the shit outta me,off to the nut house

"Creates an emotional landscape somewhere between unspeakable bliss and total annihilation" --Spot on description on GY!BE. Listened to them before Mxe was even invented(Sooo heady.) Mxe & Godspeed are a definite match. But in all honesty, I feel like I went further listening to them in darkness on my bed than I did at the show...too many ppl for an apocalyptic feel and semi-awkward sharing the bliss with everyone by being hush hush with your eyes closed staring at the ground...idk if this makes sense...great show+band nonetheless.

Crazy you mention this. Just saw the film a week or two ago. Not one for gore-a-phobes but a great movie. Very stylish and well done imo...that "A Real Hero" song...oh boy i've had it on repeat and stuck in my head for days...so there you have it...two completely different sounds that exude Mxe-ness...

I only have experience with Cannabis. And I really love it's time slowing down (2 to 4-fold slowing for me) and increased music appreciation-type effects. I also read that MXE too has these effects, right? One person described how she thought that an entire year or so has passed when she was tripping on MXE for about 8 hours.

I mean, how do two compare, if at all?

MXE has the ability to get my pulse up to strong BPMs in the 120s-130s, just sitting in a chair feeling amped. Cannabis can definitely help push it up there. From what I've read it seems like this happens to a number of people. So, is this safe?

There are similarities in the effects of the 2, but you can tell that they work through different mechanisms. You could think of it like taking two different paths to the same spot. They also complement each other in combination, and the overlapping effects become amplified.

Ummm....they don't, really. "increased music appreciation" is a pretty subjective, vague, overarching quality that i'm sure many if not most drugs can be identified as having. Though it's fun to dissect the different effects that these substances have, plunging into the world of mexxy in this fashion is semi-foolish and has marijuana: "the gateway drug" written all over it. I don't want to sound like an old fuddy duddy, and I'm aware I sound like, and am, a hypocrite. But If your only experience has been with cannabis, I would think long and hard about taking, and even more so about ordering; mxe. It's pretty cheap, when you source it it's easy to order, I find it rather addictive, it's very new, it's worthwhile, it's not kind nug. We don't know what it is, that's why we're researching it. I'd just stick to bud, bud. Stick to the natural stuff; take some shrooms. Maybe one day you'll run into Dimitri. If you really want that dissociative experience you could do what we used to do when we were kids, steal cough syrup from the local pharmacy and puke our guts out. No, Mxe is no good.

At first, I thought MXE made music sound more thin and flat.

Nowadays I find it greatly enhances my CEV's from audio sounds, particularly music.

ime, low to medium dosage it sounds awesome but as you get closer to holing it does get 'thin'. kinda like bad quality mp3 or something. it is still greatly enjoyable tho ;p

CEVs are different story.

Thanks for the input, guys! Yes, I plan to do shrooms. I'd rather want to stick to naturals and I can supply myself with high quality weed and mushies all the time. I've been thinking: "Are dissociatives actually worth the while, when I can use classical psychedelics and have a great time?" It's not entirely clear from trip reports... Besides, here in Russia the RC market is very poor and contains only stuff like MDPV and JWH...

Stick to the Weed, there's nothing better. Perhaps you should buy some MXE and stash it for the future ;) But be careful, it's not your everyday-drug.

But in all honesty, I feel like I went further listening to them in darkness on my bed than I did at the show

Of course, i'd say. Unfortunately didn't have the luck to see them live, but lying in bed, lights out and listening to them is like a journey, even more than with any other music i was listening to while on MXE.

so, I did 40mg MXE an hour before 38mg 2c-b the other night at mad decent block party. It was insane. Major Lazer was free!

I was jumping around for the entirety of Major Lazer's set
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cut2sA9o-sc

^in that video, the dancers from major lazer had just pulled random kids out of the crowd. They were just your average 17 year old dorky white kids and the dancers ripped their clothes off and humped the shit out of them they probably had the best fucking night lol.

I wish I had managed to get on stage but I thought I would probably fall and get hurt or something.

seriously, craziest show of my life. awesome combo.

Does anyone else get an unpleasant spinning sensation on higher doses? It is unlike anything I have ever experienced. I think the best way is to describe it being spun like a rotisserie chicken. Like my whole body is being rotated around an axis that penetrates the top of my head and exits through the bottom of my feet. Very disorienting...

It's been said before but MXE makes the experience of watching movies fucking AMAZING. And its crazy how music can "set the vibe" in such a strong way. The shit is so dissociating that it hyperassociates me with stuff if that makes any sense. Time for a long tolerance break and integration. I found however that integration happens extremely fast with this substance, and after that anti-anxiety, mood lifting slight manic effects are felt. What a magical compound!!

From my experience watching movies on MXE is only good if i've already seen the film before, otherwise i get halfway through and realise I ain't got a fucking clue what's happened!

This. Watching new films on MXE is an amazing experience aslong as you don't mind only being able to recall what's happened within the past 5 minutes ;)

But if you're looking old movies, movies you've seen in your childhood and ones which you loved back then, it's almost like you're experiencing this unique moment of seeing them the 1st time again. Had this one time, not trough the whole movie but during specific scenes.
