The Big & Dandy Entity Contact & Theories Thread

Re: Re: X-Men

my general feeling on 'entities' is that if you are unsure if you encounted one.. you probably didn't.

No.
I did.
It's just now 20/20 hindsight that's shown it to me.
:)

As I watched in amazement, a city of stepped pyramids emerged out of the asphalt below my eyes. Even more amazingly, this city was alive! There were people and animals bustling through the roads, merchants hawking their wares in markets, craftsmen plying their trades, warriors drilling and practicing, preists conducting rituals in the temples, every type of activity that comprised a Mesoamerican civilization

FUckkkk.

I need to get me some shrooms or acid. In the past 3 weeks ive experience so many things relating straight back tp pyschs and its pissing me off.

Ill word this carefully, edit it if it steps the mark:
Is there anyone in Aus, or more specifically Qld, think they can give me some advice on how to seek phycs? No I am not asking for some, Im asking for advice on how I should proceed.

It just seems kind of sketchy that by ingesting a chemical our brain travels to a different universe.

I wanted to say about the same thing tathra said, but tathra said it before me, so I`ll just say that every plant does have a spirit(to me it does) and every spirit has it`s own way of working it`s magic. Results may vary, experiences can be overwhelming/do nothing for you at all even when you think you are repeating it under the exact same circumstances, but you never know if your body was more susceptible to it because you were a bit sick last time, or you had a fuller stomach, or inhaled better/longer , or your stomachacid is not as acidic/more acidic than last time. You`ll just have to try, try again to see what a spirit will most commonly do for you.

BTW I get the same effects from smoking leaves as I do from extract, extract just works faster(giving the impression of a harder trip) and I have to inhale less, which is easier to do. I love salvia, and the confusion it can bring.

I was on 711 mg's of DXM once and was at the high third plateau or lower fourth, I couldn't really tell; and I had kinda a psychic link from my brain into god's brrainand he told me because I did drugs I would never leave my room. I had this vision that I was in my room and it was the only thing I knew because I did drugs. But then god old me to puke and I proceeded to the bathroom and puked everywhere. And might I add that during this whole time I was comletely disassociated from my mind and body. I had no idea who I was, where I was (other than my room), or why I was here. It was wierd shit. And I was like this for probally 1-2 hours.

Anyone ever met the semi-famous Mantis creature? All I have heard on this thing interests me greatly - a first hand account would rock! :)

Re: psychedelic entities

1. what substance + amount were you on?
small amount of heroin & ketamine, unknown amount due to K in a powder form

2. did the entitie(s) seem plausibly to be a part of your unconscious thoughts coming to reality, or something completely "alien" in nature ie no plausible link to what could exist in your mind?
When i slipped into K-space it was to "alien" in nature for me to really understand, it was as if there was a huge hole that i had fallen into with objects growing/moving in shape whie sort of floating down a kinda tunnel

3. did the entity speak? if so, what kind of teaching / dialogue took place?
No speach as in a language i could understand

4. how long did the encounter with the entity (subjectively) seem to last?
It felt like a very long time to me, a good few hours if not a whole day but in truth i was gona around a hour, 1 1/2 hrs max

i can second MGS on the Rockies..there's something about 'dem hills...

setting: Boulder, Colorado, Summer 1986

dose: 1,000 mcgs LSD, Blue Octopus blotter...

entity: 7th Level operator called Chavo, male, humanoid,

nature of contact: ascending to White Light through the Bardos, he was one of the distractors, his energy sucked me in and i was a pawn in his stable, engaged in a complex game involving mine and others' chi and certain different fine energies, the game not at all benign.

Chavo was mighty pissed to see me become aware, he then explained to me in no uncertain terms that as a Level 3 entity, i had no biz being aware and all - this communicated in an instantaneous synaesthetic telepatho-emotional flash that lasted xxxxxx years, with alot of other nonsense involved, the nature of which i cannot recall.

suffice to say, my awareness in itself was a loss of some sort for Chavo against whatever opponent he was playing, the nature / intention of the latter a mystery.

the Light took me then, releasing, warm, Love, past all distractions and illusions and Chavo's lowly plans.

To the person who asked, the book I am reading is "Archaic Revival" by McKenna.

One interesting idea he puts forward is the idea of "collective unconsciousness". Basically he argues that as a species, humans have certain shared memories / experiences, and that psychedelics somehow cause people to tap into this area of the brain.

Hence, the commonality of alien-type motifs.

ENTITY SCHMENTITY

Have you guys ever looked at the molecular structure for Serotonin, DMT, and 4-ho-DMT side by side? Check this out,

serotonin.gif

dmt.gif

psilocybin.gif

Doesnt it remind you of the time when all there was was electron soup, then slowly came nuclei, orbiting electrons (atoms), molecules, compounds, etc.

Think of it like this. Every one of your senses is nothing more than an interpretation/quantification/modeling of a wave ( sound = acoustic pressure wave, sight = photon wave, touch, smell, taste = electric wave sent through nerves). These senses are coordinated by your "sixth sense", your consciousness. How does your mind take in all these waves and make the experience of life out of it? Well, we arent to sure, but we do know that serotonin is responsible for regulating 90% or more of your functioning (heart beat, mood, temperature, hunger, sleep, etc.)

Think of Serotonin as a prism. When you shine white light through a prism and you see ROY G BIV (red orange yellow green blue indigo violet).
When experience is "shone through" serotonin, you see life as it is (good times, bad times, weird times). However, science tells us that there are more parts to the light wave, the infared and ultraviolet extensions to the spectrum. We just can't see them. Maybe there are infrared and uv sections to the spectrum of human experience.

Suppose for a second, that some genius invented a prism which, when light was shone through, allowed us to see the infrared and uv spectrum. THATS what the indole hallucinogens are, Serotonin+.

This, along with the fact that your receptors have a higher affinity for psychedelics than serotonin, leads me to speculate that Neo Sapiens ( the inevitable creature which we are the ancestor of) will not function with serotonin, but with dmt or 5meodmt or harmala or psilocybin or a combo. This will not happen until we have matured to the point where our technology can sustain ALL life functions, and we no longer have physical threats. Picture a laboratory of glass tubes containing humans suspended in amniotic-esque fluid, with probes attached to their brain, simultaneously monitoring vitals, sustaining life, and recording data being gathered by the subjective experience of the person. In this environment, your brain wouldnt have to worry about you starving, or getting stabbed constantly, thus allowing permatripping.

Nah im probably withdrawing from cannabis.:p

You really have to think about this? Of course the "entities" aren't really there.

For as much time as people go about trying to explain the "entities" and "alternate universes", their time would be better spent understanding how the brain processes information and how drugs effect those processes. Or stay awake for 72 hours and then take some sort of psychedelic drug and you'll see a lot more than entities and alternative universes. Hopefully the dancing cartoon characters will make you realize that it's all just fantasy. As it would be really sad if you believed the cartoon characters were part of the same alternate universe as your entities.

That's a really clever post...

It depresses me when i come onto bluelight, i used to think my views were infallible/more accurate than everyone elses....but no...there's loads of other people with better opinions, or who can put my ideas into words.

Damn you all

i dont care what anybody says, perception is reality, so i know i'm right! :D

as with theological ideas, just because somebody can come up with a good argument against your ideas and tell you what an idiot you are for thinking such things in elaborate ways doesnt mean they're right

i really like the idea of the poster who suggested that as humans there exists reality beyond our biological capability to perceive it

in a sense, this is a powerful argument against the ability of science to explain everything. the basic premise of science is that we make observations, then formulate theories that can consistently explain and predict these observations

what if there is a whole realm that we as humans simply do not have the biological capability to perceive?

let me try to make an analogy. before the invention of the telescope, there were limits on our perception of outer space. suddenly, once the telescope is invented, we can perceive things that previously seemed not to exist....new planets, stars, etc

maybe psychedelics act in a similar way, but instead of being an exterior technology that gives us greater perception, is an internal technology that somehow temporarily modifies our biology, making us physically capable of perceiving a new realm of existence that always was there, but that we just don't normally have the capability to perceive?

sort of like doing an operation on a man born blind, allowing him to see

Theory on meeting entities

I have only met entities twice both times on large, 750-1000 microgram doses of acid. The first time I was in my bed watching television. Now I was changing channels and the trails from the channels merged into one TV show, really cool stuff. I saw Patrick Ewing playing basketball, a talk show, seinfeld and a few more shows all morph into one show. Hard to describe.

Now eventually it all morphed into this giant sized cooking show type thing and their were 2 people. There was a male and a female and the male did most of the talking. This was different than a distortion of TV, as the people looked realistic not acid morphed. The man said to me in his cooking outfit, while preparing a crazy looking dish,"Wow you must have really taken alot this time to get here." He then went on to give me advice and perspective on my life, great unbiased information. I had what seemed like a good hour or so to talk to these people about me.

Now my theory is that meeting these entities, is sort of like the surfing the chaos that Tim Leary speaks of. I mean my mind is so overwhelmed with trails and info, that it trys to make sense of it and you get entities. These people are just my subconcience speaking to me unbiasely.

Now I know this isn't a new theory, but I found it very interesting that my mind can only go so far before it has to try and formulate something that makes sense. It really goes hand in hand with the chaos theory. The amount of trails that acid can produce is staggering! I mean I litteraly got trails from a good 5 minutes ago, that's pretty wicked.

I met these same entities a year or two later and it was like a welcoming home party, they were so happy to see me. Is that what DMT Hyperspace is like? I mean that feeling that you are always welcome back, and greeted by the same people/creatures/elves/whatever?

It is trully the most blissful experience, and makes perfect sense at the time. I could see how I could abuse DMT if that is the case, as reaching that plateau on acid is so curiously mind boggling, I would love to go back.

Any opinion will be valued.

Well, I had entities with salvia, and it seems totally 100% different from your expirance. The entities wanted me to come with them, but I was like, no leave me here on earth, I'm not ready!!! Then they were pissed. heh. That wasn't really a breakthrough salvia exp, but on my breakthrough I was still a ball of energy moving unrestricted on the planet's surface.

Heres something to ponder... If your brain could only make sense out of chaos by picturing a cooking show, then TV has too strong a hold on your life.

It was Terrance Mckenna who said, 'I'd rather be a homeless junky than someone who watches TV, at least as a HJ my thoughts would be my own.'

This makes me want to post a topic. My bad if you dont really watch too much TV, this is just what your expirance made me think of.

Even though on average I watch less than two hours of television a month, I still found your post very offensive. It's a great insult to the human mind to say that it is too weak to withhold its own thoughts and opinions while watching an excessive amount of television. Any reasonably intelligent person can watch T.V without having their opinions and sense of values unwillingly reshaped. Though on some level I do agree with you, a lot of people are indeed heavily influenced by the things they see, not just on television, but everywhere. However if these people would apply just a little more thought to life and other people's motives for stating certain facts, they would not be so easily convinced by things they watch.

I think the only reason my entities were tv based are because I was watching tv. I don't watch alot of tv, but I do enjoy tv while under the influence.

Does anyone have an anwser to my DMT question?

from what i've read about DMT hyperspace, it sounds like you don't reach the same crazy unbelieveable world through lsd, although i'm sure you get a hazy glimpse. a DMT breakthrough experience seems to be quite a perplexing realm.

any DMT users want to add?

I mean that feeling that you are always welcome back, and greeted by the same people/creatures/elves/whatever?
on my not totally breakthrough experiences with salvia i always felt like welcomed home.
even on the very first time.
i didn't realize being in my room anymore, and i perceived the blurred paintings on my walls as entities of a forgotten past (of mine) telling me this was the world i really belonged to and asking me to stay.
