Whilst the (meta)physical existance of these entities cannot be proved, they acnnot be disproved either. Anyone who refuses to accept the possibility of contact like this is a fool.

No one here knows why the brain does what it does. No one here knows the significance of what a psychedelic drug does to the mind. These things are not yet known for lack of information; simply because no one yet knows or is able to. If you value flexibility, you would see that to form a conclusion either way, whether hallucinations like these are meaningless or vitally important, is misguided at best.

The fact that your mind is so closed to anything but what you think is "right" would scare me from trusting you with my health. Some things just simply can not be 'proven' with science. And quantum physics basically has shown us that we really know nothing of the universe and the ability of the mind to travel.

Its obvious that terayon as a great neurosurgeon can completely understand the human mind. In our age, no one makes mistakes; we are capable of knowing all there is to know. Remember a time back when doctors use to think that drilling people’s brains would let out "evil spirits"? This is just a more modern case. Science always thinks its right, because "we have the evidence, the hard facts". Well it seems to me the evidence keeps on changing, over, and over, and over, and our great neurosurgeon's seem to know it all. So remember, all the bullshit they tell you about Aztecs and ancient cultures in tune with "spirits" and other such, is just bullshit. Because our great society has figured it all out. They would never want to "dull" your brain with such things.

i doubt the 'entities' are real.. but it is interesting what the brain can do. Until i had experienced 'entity contact' i had always though people who experienced this were WAAAAAY tripped out.. but once it happened to me i understood where these people were coming from. I still think you aren't as grounded as you ought to be if you think that these entities are definitely real.. but ANYTHING is possible, however unlikely the possibility.
I was blown away at the realness of my experience... in my salvia vision, i was looking through a one way mirror into the room I was physically sitting. I could see myself there and i felt the presense of others watching through the mirror with me. they laughed at me and told me 'reality' wasnt real.

With out a doubt plants have spirts, which if the 'right' person becomes involved with them communication is possible. They are a living breathing organism which can be further deepened by bringing up aura's. (which I wont really get into, just mention it)
The gardens of Findhorn are a perfect example when the right people (not just because they believe but obviously there is some I believe genetic encoding making certain peoples predisposed to light work) do the right job miraculous events can transpire. Now I have undertook my own experiments with plants mainly experimenting with music and physical touch and 'tuning into the plant' (I am speaking of growth not consumtion). I in no way claim to be anything other than what I am, human. The results were obvious.
Now I established that plants have spirts/essences (if you don't believe that, no problem your just not quite 'there' yet), I would hope most people would agree with me when I say people have spirits/souls. Hence the quite common occurence of ghosts/spirits/etc. Now is it really that far fetched to think that the 'spirit' of the plants shows it self to whom it wishes? No. simple
I will push it a little further by saying some psychedelic plants seem to have a stronger essence than other plants. Part of this might have to do with why certain plants are associated with 'entities'. They could be spirits, guardians, or keepers of the plants. Instead of associating this back to ghosts, etc. (which some people don't belive in, which I will never understand) how about associating these 'entities' of the plants with the same type of aspect Guarding angel or religious entities are to humans.
I hope I wrote this clear enough...
But alas science and 'rock' solid data is what it takes for some skeptics to believe, but believing is just half the battle...

Haha. "Wow" is all I have to say to that
I've already gotten into this debate before in the DMT threads, so I wont even go there. I'd like to share my first Salvia experience (and to tell you the truth, it has been almost the same every consecutive time) with you all to give you an idea where I come from on the "entity" debate.
My first time breaking through to salvia space, I experience a split in my peripheral field. Things were still "intact", but it was as if they were seperated by small, strait lines in a grid or star shape. I completely lost my sense of reality, and every part of the "grid" or each individual element in my field of vision felt like it became a circus gnome. The reason I say "gnome" (and keep in mind everything I saw with my eyes was simply the room and nothing more) is because they were all small...with a collective voice I didn't understand. They were all singing a song that sounded like circus nusic to me, and when my girlfriend asked if she could take the bong out of my hands they all seemed to respond "No! dont lose concentration on us or we will lose contact!" It wasn't english like that, but I understood what they were trying to tell me. My girlfiend took the bong and the trip ended abruptly. Since then I have met the same gnomes every single saliva trip I have, and they always get more and more frustrated with my inability to totally leave my reality for theirs and to understood their "language."
Now here's the part that matters: I thought long and hard about that trip as soon as it ended. What I came to realize is that these gnomes were simply elements of my consciousness that became "seperate" and formed their own idenitites in my head. The song they were singing was a house track I had stuck in my head before I took the hit. Their cry against my girlfriend's request was what MY personal response was to her query, and like a self-fullfilling prophecy my trip ended just as the "gnomes" (me) predicted. When they get frustrated with me not being able to understand them...its ME getting frustrated with my inability to understand this new identity I created for myself.
I do not deny the POSSIBILITY of extra-dimentional entities contacting us, but I believe the odds are highly, highly against it. I believe that the most rational explanation is the most likely, and that is that the entities are located in your own head. If consciousness dictates reality for you (depending on the input it recieves), then these entities are "real." Your mind is in a state where it becomes possible for it to construct new identities independent of "you" (like split personalities, or better yet...paranoid schitzophrenia). They are real enough to be treated as other beings, just understand that they are beings that are created by your brain with the help of psychoactive substances. The insight they offer as a 3rd party may still be valid, you just dont have to believe that they are aliens. Just re-evaluate what it means to be "real" or "extra dimentional" or even "being," and you will understand both the potential and the limits of entity contact.

One night after taking ecstasy and smoking some marijuana I picked up a pen and wrote, on autopilot, "I am an archangel called Ariel and I live on the Astral Plane." I walked home and felt like I had wings on my back, and all the next day had a burning love inside me, superimposed on me, like from a different plane or level of exsistance.
It was weird.
The feeling slowly faded over two days,
but the name still has signifigance to me.
I called my cat Ariel.
Is that entity work?
I never had any connection with studying Angels or shit.
I didn't believe in them.
Now I guess I kinda havta unless someones got a better explanation.

Off the wall...yes. How can you even define "spirit" and then go on to claim that certain items found in reality have one or not? Where do you draw the lines for a living substance, at the community...the individual (the community of individual cells), or the individual cells? Which one of those is the one with "spirit"...? (Whatever the hell spirit is). As for being a possible truth....man I wont even go there. In the grand scheme of things...ANYTHING could be possible...but come on.

On a totally different topic...I dont understand how so many of you can be so critical of christians, jews, and muslims for having "primitive" beliefs in their nonsense but then go and judge others for questioning your belief in plant spirits and guardians and whatnot.

It's weird how many times Salvia has done nothing for me but EVERY time i have asked for themto work i have tripped of them (yes using the same batches). Is it likely that these plants were here by accident? If your never had them you would say yes, of course they are here by random occurance as all these drugs do is alter you perception. Once having them though i have realised the clarity of mind, creativity and spiritual insight they can offer suggests that they are here for a reason. Whether they were put here buy a creator/creators or whether we have been connected to nature through our evolution so strongly that nature has evolved to provide us with food and drugs for the body and mind. If there is something out there, the only way to see signs of it is to be completely open to it and the only way to fully experience it is to know it exists.

It is my personal opinion that the entities that I have met a couple of times on DMT and Salvia, etc are not real in the usual sense of the word, but as they exist in my head I guess it doesn't matter if they are real, they are real to me. Fuck, I'm rambling because it is late and I'm tired. But nonetheless, suggesting that by smoking/eating something you go on a magical journey to another world is kinda odd, and it seems much more likely that by smoking/eating that something, the chemicals make your brain think that it is on a magical journey. But then again, I am just a 14 year old kid, I could be wrong.

It just seems kind of sketchy that by ingesting a chemical our brain travels to a different universe. I don't know... in all of my "entity contact" trips they have just been in the room, or whereever I was while tripping. Oddly enough however, my friends saw the same things I was seeing. It certainly fucks with your head if you think about it enough, doesn't it? :D

It also seems a bit sketchy that by closing our eyes and falling asleep can cause your subconscious to become significantly altered. Imposing many different people, place, and things upon your subconscious, and for some traveling around the world in a blink of the eye.
