Eh I did DOI and DOC at the same time and thought it was fantastically intense and forgiving. Different people react differently. I remember my doses were 7mg of DOI and 2mg DOC orally, with 5mg DOC plugged at t + 1:30. I had done 20mg of 2c-b the previous night, which explains the high doses (although I naturally need high doses, requiring about 7mg of DOC to get anywhere interesting, and the trip definitely WAS intense as fuck.) I found there to be no nausea or body load, only crazy visuals, euphoria and music enhancement.

was made schedule 1 in 1985... i figured it was scheduled at the same time as 2C-B, but 2C-B didn't get scheduled until 1994.

maybe it had something to do with the death that shulgin talks about in pihkal?

There was a report of a death of a young lady following the snorting of an amount of DOB so massive, there was the actual recovery of over nine milligrams of the drug from her body tissues in the post-mortem examination. It was said that she and her companion had thought that the drug they were using was MDA and, taking a dosage appropriate for this, effectively overdosed themselves. He survived, following convulsions and an extended period (several weeks) of being in a comatose state. Tragic examples have been reported that involve arterial vascular spasm. But in most overdose cases ascribed to DOB, the identity of the drug has remained unestablished.

Why?

If you want to exercise your body, go and work out. If you want to exercise your mind, do whatever cognitive tasks are relevant to the goal you are working towards. Meditate and do yoga. What you shouldn't do is go in to a trip with the aggressive intention of putting yourself "through hell", because nothing good will come of it (except the realization that it was a stupid decision to make).

i do walk quite a bit, and my brain does get quite a work out with various other things that i do. i probably could meditate a bit more though i suppose.

lots of people approach a trip knowing their body is going to go through hell. ayahuaca for instance.
 
Mescaline's the same, the purge is a part of the trip for a lot of people. It's not my cup of tea, but thw isn't the first to find value in nausea/body load.
 
Thanks for the feedback, I can get a hold of a friends scales that go to 0.001 but they are just cheap ones. Will most likely weigh say 5 doses to get a bit more weight so the scales are accurate and then liquid dose.
 
so im getting a 2.5mg sample most likely pressed into a pellet,most likely w/other inactives.And i have not tried DOC yet at all.is this compound active below 1mg? will i be able to cut this pellet in half and half again to doseand feel something?not looking for a psychedelic hurricane,just stimulation,euphoria,and maybe slight visuals.i just dont wanna get floored

It is active, but not very strong. I have done allergy tests at 400ug and at 1.3mg. The lighter dose was barely noticeable, more of just a body feeling, while the 1.3mg was definitely active, with very light visual distortions and slightly trippy headspace. So to answer your question, if you took one quarter of it you have 625ug which, in my experience, will be an active dose, albeit a very light one. YMMV, of course....
 
so with this pellet will it be wioser to crush it up before dividing it into quarters,so to make this resulting powder homogenous...since it may not be since it is in a pellet,and not to say i dont trust this person,but this will b the first sample from this "supplier"...what about if i break it into thirds....i have only done acid 3-4 times,shrooms 20-30 times,2ci-finished a gram to myslef and tried yopo seeds san pedro mdma a handfuk of times...so what do you think for a 1.5-2 gram shroom trip hit of moderately good sid???
 
I found my 2.5 mg starter dose to be a perfect introduction to DOC. Very light headspace, light visuals, mostly body feel. I would compare it to one hit of medium grade LSD. Your 2 mg dose should put you right about where you want to be.

IME DOC is very malleable even at doses up to 5 mg. I can almost choose how deep I want to be. Like if I'm just chilling with some music, I can go into a high +3. But say I get hungry for some hot food. I can go into a light +2 for concentration while cooking. DOC is the only psychedelic I've found that I can control like that. Maybe LSD to a point, but that's still "buy the ticket, take the ride" if you know what I mean.
 
So my pellets came today,there were three 2.5mg pellets...so i have quite a bit to work with...i think i may have accidentally microdosed myself,my hand were sweaty and i had the three pellets in my hand,then there was a tiny crumb that came off one of the pellts so I threw it in my mouth,about 30 min later my heart started to beat faster,and i had a bit of stimulation....i just hope this doesnt ramp up while im doing my bible study...lol
 
so I just cut one in half and took about 2/3 of the other half...so im guessing between ~500-850mcg~...we'll see ho wthis goes...dropped @~3:30pm...just plannihg on chilling in myhouse,surf the net,listen to some music...im the only one partaking...gf doesnt know i took anything..hoping for a smooth chill ride

I also have 6grams of kava,will this be ok to mix...even tho 6gms isnt to much for me

ALRIGHT...SO...dosed rest of pellet so i think im at ~1.75-2mcg~def. in a trippy space...u guys dont think ill lose my head right?havent tripped in a minute.
I hear and read thers not much of a HEAD FUK,which i dont really do...def body high like mdma,WOW..this is nice..hopei dont trip too too hard

some people say that peak effects are at 5 hours in, but by the 2-3hour mark you should have a good feel for where its going to take ya. also, a low dose like that might peak earlier.
 
Def a wonderful and so far almost erotic feel to this chem...so clear headed!!

WOW....i dont know any other way to describe my experience but WOW!!..IT WAS LIKE BEING TOTALLY IMMERSED IN PSYCHEDELIA,AND THE HEADSPACE ON THIS SHIT IS JUST ..WHOA!...IN TOTAL DARKNESS IT WAS LIKE LITERALLY WALKING THRU COLORS/FRACTALS,AND THE BODY HIGH OMG..THE TOTAL BLISS,..at times it was like i was getting this small but powerful pushes every so often.And like i heard someone else say,You can go basically as deep as you would like.But dont try and fight this chem,especially at night,cuz YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO SLEEP.I TOOK around 2000mg of neurontim to try and take a lil edge off the trip,well it help like a tiny tiny bit..I just loved this chem...but one other thing i did notice was my chest would feel tight from time to time,and i would feel this pressure of sorts travel to my leg once,and once to my elbow!!eminating from my chest area.

Other than that the experience is one ill never forget,I have 2 more 2.5mg doses left,and Im sure i can split the doses in 1/4 and get 8 doses of ~600mcg if I want..Be safe with this one,but have a FUKING good time as you travel thru your own mind and discover ANYTHING and EVERYTHING.

Oh therer was also this almost dissacociative aspect to this.Like I would just stare inthe darkness,and my vision would just be immersed in WHatever..kinda hard to explain,but more exploring with this is needed for me....I LOVED THIS CHEM,TREAT IT WITH RESPECT,AND HAVE A BLAST EXPLORING YOUR MIND AND THE WORLD U LIVE IN...

HAPPY TRAILS...oh I dosed ~2mg ~3:30pm wednesday was in psychedelia till7:00am today,still feeling a glow..going to take 600mcg now and see where that takes me.Is this safe?I can handle 4 days in bliss,im just worried about the tight feeling in my chest...will tea or caffeine help with vasoconstriction??

I've dosed the day after before with no problem. Tolerance may be an issue. As for vasoconstriction, a hot bath or shower is probably a better choice than caffeine. Your heart rate is probably already elevated from the DOC.

Glad you had such a good time! DOC is a gem!
