The Big & Dandy 3-MeO-PCP Thread - Part 2

Gave 3-meo-pcp another shot yesterday. Didn't ahve a scale at the moment so I eyeballed a piece of fluff between 10-20mg. Judging from the strength of the experience, it was upwards of 20. I dissolved it in a the last bit of an energy drink I had. The first alert came quick, within 30 minutes. I was working on a music video project. After the first hour my third-eye vision was so strong it was cross-modulating with my visual field. After I stopped working on the project I continued to see the visuals I was working on. Waves of rainbows swept across my visual field, and thoughts were manifesting as various different visual patterns. Kaliedescopic fractal stuff with lots of gradient sweeps. After 3 hours the body high became overwhelming. A very strong unnatural feeling phased with my core oscillations. I was overcome by a vibrating machine, an engine. I had to work to ground myself. I held the hand of my girlfriend and tried to suppress it. It worked somewhat. Then I went into a bathroom that had a big mirror and used it as a sort of biofeedback mechanism to re-balance myself. That worked perfectly. The rest of the trip was chill after I figured out how to get rid of that wonk.
 
Don't eyeball it! Have you even read about numerous incidents from people including experienced and prominent BLers? I've even seen it happen to my best friend / roommate.

Glad you were able to resist slipping into some absent state.. it certainly may be less benign than an anaesthesized k-hole.
 
yeah definitely don't eyeball this stuff. even when accurately measuring there is a fine line between a manageable dose and a blackout crazy dose.
 
Thanks for telling me that it was a stupid thing to do. Yes I've read about all the nutty experiences here, and I've had my share of them too. To be honest though, at the time I just wanted to go balls out! I know my tolerance to NMDA antagonists is pretty significant right now, so I'm guessing what got me tuned was mostly the other crazy pharmacodynamics of it.
 
I've been eyeballing it, but only because my mg scale is jacked, and I have an idea what a given amount (5 mg)looks like from when my scale was better. But I also start with what I think is 5 mg, dissolve it in 5 ml of water, and increase a ml every 20 minutes until a desired level is reached (usually probably less than 10 mg, I enjoy threshold effects of this drug, and just a tiny bit further.

As I've said before, 15+ get's into debilitating fucked up zone where shit is exactly as it seems, which is FUCKING CRAZY. Disordered thoughts, a kind of ego loss, not particularly fun unless you like the fuck uppery of high dose NMDA antagonists. I don't particularly.

Who are you addressing?


My eyeballing involves titrating up from an assumed .5-1 mg increments, with such dilution, and aiming for a dose of 5-8 mg and past experience with this same powder and a mg scale, I wouldn't call it eyeballing, it's more of an very educated guess. I've actually weighed out this powder before at 5 and 15 mg and so on. Another characteristic of this batch is it's like fluff powder, not crystally, if I try and knock it off of my microscoop then it sticks to my finger, the last stuff was actually somewhat denser, so I'm probably also way overestimating that 5 mg, remember, I'm only seeking threshold effects, the very slightest change in perception and the brightening of colors.

Now I admit it is still unsafe, but honestly even when my AWS mg scale (American Weight Systems - $26) was working it couldn't really accurately measure out 1-3 mg, it seemed to be ok above 15 mg and I'd say probably +- 2 or 3 mg, which can be a huge difference with this stuff especially when you're getting near the full on dissociative range (15 mg+ or so), so without a 500$ .001 g scale titration from tiny amounts is required, and you can still go bad

Now when I turn it on it starts at 0 and starts rolling into the negatives, not good for a mg scale....7 year warranty, I've had it for like a year and a half. it's been like 5 business days and I haven't heard back on my RMA request, Looks like they're not particularly concerned with it as someone buying 26$ scales isn't going to be a return customer coming back for a $1000 dollar scale.


I wonder if it would have made a huge difference in accuracy/durability to go up to say, an 80-90$ one (I'm not plopping down $400 for a scale, if I buy any scientific instrument for that price it will be a microscope because it's awesome to get stoned and look at stuff at 400x (probably fun to get manic and look too).
 
I'm only here to warn, my brother....,this one IS not a toy. Treat it as it as such and like Icrus, fly to close to this sun and you will be burnt. I can't type a full fledged warning but if you dose to high you will then understand the power not to mention the prowess of this one , but it will and can incinerate you Heed the warnings of us old heads, when you fly to close to the sun. It will burn you one way or another!

You don't have to, you can use liquid measurement with your milligram scale. For example, measure out 20mg on your scale and dissolve it in 4mL of water, and then 1mL of the solution will be very close to 5mg (if your scale is off by 2mg either way then the error will be reduced by 1/4, so the dose will only be off by 0.5mg). It's not much more complicated than what you're doing now and it's a lot safer too.
 
Also, not every 30$ scale is a piece of shit. They tend to feel that way on the outside, but I've mostly had decent experiences with the inner mechanism of my cheapo 30$ deal-extreme scale and I also have a sturdy 5 mg lab scale.

And liquid measurement yes that is another strong argument. Go to the Big & Dandy Scale Thread to continue this discussion.

heck, my scale is only accurate to +/- 0.01g, but with liquid measurement i can accurately weigh out fractions of a milligram.

which imo is the only safe way to measure 3-meo-pcp
 
Hehe, so does the IM ROA that I often take count as that only safe way as well? ;)
 
as far as i can tell, any ROA is safe with this stuff so long as you've properly measured out your dose =p

i always just take it orally though. i prefer long comeups...

You missed my extended explanation about titration to threshold effects. But I do agree, and when I have either the time to bitch at AWS some more, or the time and money to research into cheaper .001g scales, this'll do. For now i'm titrating using liquid measurement after 'eyeballing.' Certainly not the best way from having a .001g +-.002 mg scale, but it's working as long as I take the time to be cautious and go super slow.

;) Yes or in other words: it is not quite orthodox and safe, but the closest thing to it. Whatever that means.
 
I'm addressing anyone who thinks this shit is a toy, I've taken psychedelics/etc. to the maximum but this IS NOT THE SAME. Play with it, if you want, just prepare to get your ass handed to you by your enflamed ego......

TNW and I, including others have warned and warned, but if a hatchling wants to jump nest before it can fly, there isn't much to be done....now is there ?!?
 
come on psychedelics are way riskier than 3meo, not that it is safe but still its not as mind shattering as say lsd can be
 
Yes ^ because experience doesn't necessarily mean anything when the switch is flipped and it is not therapeutic either when you go amnestic and/or manic on something like 3-MeO-PCP.

Having your ego's ass handed to you on a platter on a heavy dose of a psychedelic is a difficult experience but it is in most cases not as dangerous as going too far with a dissociative like this.
Well it can turn into a trainwreck, if your set and/or setting are completely wrong, but that can be prevented more than what often happens in a psychotic / amnestic / manic state on dissociatives. As far as I can tell.
