The Big & Dandy 2C-I Thread

Status
Not open for further replies.
Ive finally read all 19 pages on 2c-i and I am definatly going to try it (I can get it)
It doesnt mention it so I'll ask...Does 2c-i make you feel light headed? (As I love drugs that make me feel light headed)

Has anyone used it whilst on an SNRI?
Can you get high if your on an SNRI?

Im on 30mg Mirtazapine btw.

I am not really sure what you mean by lightheaded. For me that term usually describes a negative feeling. Like: "Damn I feel really lightheaded I need to sit down".

2c-i is somewhat euphoric if that's what you mean.

Not sure about SNRIs but SSRIs are known to dull the effects of psychs I believe.

There are several compounds(called phenethylamines btw) similar in structure and effect to 2c-i. Most of them are in sort of a legal "grey" area.

I believe Mr Skunkyfingers is in the UK and over here all the 2Cs (and virtually everything else mentioned in PIHKAL and TIHKAL) are Class A unfortunately :\

I have and it seems to work fine. If anything it actually seemed to potentiate it somewhat but that may well have been down to taking a break meaning my tolerance had dropped more than I realised. This is whilst on tramadol although I know of at least one person who has used it on mirtazapine with no issue. Probably best to start low just to be on the safe side to make sure you have no unusual reactions - best to do that with any new drug.

i didnt think tramadol was an SNRI?

Also is it ok if you have 0.01 scales? As you would be able to weigh 10mg which is what i'm going to start on.

Tramadol has both SNRI and (mild) SSRI properties. For 2C-I (and all 2C drugs and many others) I would definitely recommend buying yourself a set of 0.001mg scales. You can get a perfectly decent set for around £25 on eBay. That's where I got mine from and I have had no problem with them even though they are the cheapest of the cheap really. Check out The B&D Scale Thread for plenty of recommendations for scales.

At a pinch, you could weigh out an amount on the scales you have and use Liquid Measurement - 100mg per 100ml or liquid, for example - but a set of 0.001mg scales would be a wise investment for anyone using these types of drugs. I didn't buy one for a long time but am so glad I did. I guarantee you won't know how you ever lived without it within no time :)

k

No liquid measurement is way too complicated cant be dealing with the hassle.

So is 5mg dose literally a massive difference in effect with 2c-i?

I mean surely if I weigh it at 0.01 its going to be between 5 - 15 mg? Or is it just too risky?

Do you think its ok to buy 0.001 scale from Hong Kong? It's £4.99 + £10 p+p

I bought my scale from HK and paid slightly more (£25 total price including postage) but that one you mention doesn't seem unreasonable. Probably won't last you a lifetime or owt but for that price it hardly matters. You'd want to check it out with known weights before using it though - and the same applies to any scale.

Liquid measurement couldn't be simpler - weigh a quantity of your 2C-I (say 100mg, for example) and mix it with 100ml of water and/or vodka. That way every 1ml = 1mg and you can dose very accurately :)

With 2C-I I really wouldn't to use 0.01mg scales as they're nowhere near accurate for a single dose. There's a huge difference between 5mg and 15mg. A couple of mg one way or the other makes a massive difference to me so I really wouldn't advise you try to measure single doses on such an inaccurate scale.

so does an snri increase dopamine aswell as serotonin? whats actually the difference between an ssri and snri?

No, it increases noradrenaline and serotonin. By blocking reuptake of them.

SSRI only works on serotonin. SNRI works on serotonin and norad.

SNDRI works on all 3 monoamines.

@bighooter, you mentioned mirtazepine (remeron) which isnt really an SSRI or SNRI, its a histaminergic, seratonergic and adrenergic blocker, rather than reuptake inhibitor. As far as interactions with 2c-i, some people report it makes psychedelics feel more intense, esp combined with weed.

also, to stay on topic...yeah 2c-i is the shit!! ahaha. ive been really into insufflation recently, cause it doesnt last as long, I can titrate the dose a little bit, and I don't get so much uncomfortable body load. Im starting to convert my buddies as well... bwahaha!

lately ive been mixing 50mg or so w about a g of coke, highly recommend! assuming you like both to begin with, its great for a night out, clubbing, the bars, whatever!

cheers blue lotus very helpful post.

I dont smoke weed often and probably wont ever again, I smoked some last week and my heart was racing so much and I felt all twitchy n shaky. Very horrible drug imo.

Shame coke is such a rip off otherwise I'd do it, as I have found with prozac you dont get a comedown from it and it does feel alot stronger.

^ i have a couple friends that cannabis just doesn't do it for them, one always gets super quiet and introspective and doesn't enjoy himself, another always gets nauseous, and a third always feels anxiety/paranoia.

the biggest issue with coke at the moment is that such a high % is being cut with levamisole. really makes me think twice

thats interesting about the interaction with prozac, im not really sure why that would happen

this is only based on about 2 maybe 3 experiences on prozac so maybe it was just coincidence but im sure the prozac had something to do with it...and i was drinking alcohol aswell.
