The Big & Dandy 2C-E Thread (Second Edition)

8o wow that is an INCREDIBLY short experience with 2C-E!!! The shortest experience I've had when I did a proper dose of this was 7-8 hours, and that was insufflated.

Not tried smoking up with any of the psychs apart from mushrooms yet...I'm sure I'm missing out on a great deal of fun...next time ;)

after tripping on 2ce ten or so times, i feel like the duration of the experience has shortened. i'd say it lasted maybe 10 hours max at first. now it's more like 7 or 8, with a hard time going to sleep

Yeah I would agree on the duration changing...

I've also read reports by some people doing like 50mg and not reaching baseline again til T+24, so yeah, it definitely seems a pretty mad chemical.

We should see if we can plot a dose-duration graph or something! (or am I just getting too nerdy now? :\)

Nope, actually, the psychedelic use survey that's been the community project for a couple of years now will be able to accomplish this and much more. The survey is live and reading this post reminded me that I left out an important part of the survey, which is the duration of various parts of the effects. Then I'll be able to use the dose that is one of the other answers and graph it with the duration.

You should go to the thread stickied to the top of the forum and follow the link to the survey and take it for as many substances as you can, including 2C-E. This will help get the project moving. We only have 13 responses so far and we need hundreds if not thousands to really be able to get meaningful results. So please, everyone, do this! Nothing of this magnitude has ever been done before to my knowledge and you can help PD be the first to generate this kind of information! :)

oh wow thanks Xor!!

I had been meaning ot do that actually - look into it when I had the time - had it bookmarked and everything ;)

Mad love for this chemical - it really is a very special one, reminds me of nature in a way, a lil unpredictable.

It would be my pleasure to contribute to both this community and 2C-E as a compound! I'll be going down the list and doing a few others as well.

Thanks :D

very big dose needed

Me and a friend decided to take some 2-ce yesterday. Both took 20mgs.
I was tripping pretty hard but my friend didn't. He ended up taking 70mgs of 2-ce
After that he only had a very mild trip..

How can that be possible?

Some people just have really high natural tolerances to psychedelics. This happened when I gave my friend about 30mg 2C-I to try when me & him bought some - I did 25mg and had a really great trip - he didn't think it was that spectacular at all.

Also, do you know if he takes any medications? Many antidepressants, namely SSRIs, are well-known for dramatically reducing the effectiveness of serotonergic drugs like psychedelics. If he's on any antipsychotics, then it's a wonder he even had a light trip because they pretty much completely block psychedelics... they give them to people who need to come down because they're in danger.

Given the tremendously high dose, my guess is your friend is on some sort of medication. But it's true that some people have a very high natural tolerance. Or he could have had another similar psychedelic recently, or a lot of them recently. But I think the medication is the most likely... that is a LOT of 2C-E.

I know of someone who also took around 70mg of (not messed about with) 2C-E and only had a moderate trip. After asking him about it afterwards turns out he was on an SSRI and hadn't thought to mention it. Sounds like something similar went on here to me too.

Thanks for the response...
My friend is not on any medication, he only took 100mgs of oxazepam that day, and we both smoked some crack cocaine before the trip. For me that caused some paranoia during the trip. So I think it's really strange that 2-CE effects him so little, while a couple of weeks ago he tripped hard on 30mg of 2-CI. Maybe he's just not sensitive to 2-CE. Also for other drugs like MDMA, he needs a much higher dose (250mg) to feel full effects. In a couple of weeks we wil give 2-c-t-7 a try. Maybe T7 does te trick for him... sorry for my bad english, I'm from the Netherlands....

I just wanted to thank everyone really quick who took the psychedelic effects survey for 2C-E... 2C-E now has the most responses of any substance so far! :)

(For those who don't know what I'm talking about, I've created a psychedelic effects survey that will, when enough responses are collected, allow me to create a database that users can use to find out what types of effects tend to be reported and cross-reference that with dose, methods of ingestion, and so forth; The link is here: http://freeonlinesurveys.com/rendersurvey.asp?sid=hvw6fx9mmvzz82l599169)
