The Big & Dandy 2C-E Thread (Second Edition)

This should go in Psychedelic Drugs.

I like 2C-E, it's a lot different to the other psychedelics I have used... I experienced fantastic open eye hallucinations, but the experience was not as... emotional as other trips. I felt somewhat detached from it, as in I wouldn't be carried away with it overboard.
 
^ yup my first and second doses with this substance were the most euphoria and insane body sensation I've ever had off ANY drug...was like a mad energy was running through me...at the time it really felt like I had released my Qu'i.
 
I would describe 2C-E as a mix between the hallucinogenic properties of LSD, allthough the visuals are subtly different, and the empathy off MDMA, not quite the "love" of MDMA, but i certainly feel like opening up to people and talking when on 2C-E...

a good starting dose would be 10mg IM, 15mg intranasally or 20mg orally for a reasonably heavy trip... but thats how i like my trips, you know, get the full 2C-Experience...

2C-E is my DOC... can't wait for my next escapade.. combined with 4-FMP, should be interesting
 
I am a huge fan of 2c-e, and highly recommend it to anyone who likes that sort of thing. Just be as careful as possible when measuring your dose.

However, Other Drugs is not the place to discuss psychedelic drugs - we have a forum titled Psychedelic Drugs. I am conflicted about what I should do with this thread, so I'm going to move this with an attached apology to the PD mods if it should have just been closed.
 
Its a nice substance for sure. Very colourfu and visual. Can be pretty deep as well. Fairly easy riding despite a bit of stomach cramping, however people react very differently to this stuff. Its been described to be as emotionally stable, thoug hI found it to be kind of acid'esque (if thats a word) in terms of emotions.
 
A misfire on the dose and it would definately put you off tripping for a long time. One of my favorite chemicals though or was aha :P i got my eyes more in the mesc direction now, more difficult to be greedy or foolish and take a tad too much.
 
Although I don't have a huge amount of experience, I would describe 2C-E as "malleable" emotionally. It will tend to be neutral, but it will respond to your thoughts and moods as well. But where it really shines is in combinations. 2C-E with cannabis is freaking miraculous.
 
i love the 2c-e. I'd recommend 10~12mg for a starter dose, after you've dosed lower to check for safety of course. Its not explicitly illegal, but a likely analogue of 2c-b and/or 2c-t-7. That's federal law however, many states do not have analogue laws, though some do.
 
I tried 2CE for the first time last night. snorted approx 15mg. felt like it was burning my nostrils for about 10 minutes, but that passed and it started to kick in. Not much for visuals. At first I just felt strange, didn't really want to be around my friends and went and hid in the closet.

After about an hour or so I calmed down and then started to feel like an COMPLETE PRICK. I'm really laid-back and easy to get along with normally, whether I'm sober or on E or even coke. But the 2CE brought out a side of myself I've never seen before. Think of a stereotypical drunk asshole who wants to get in a fight, and then fuck something, with who it doesn't really matter. That was me on 2CE. I wasn't mad though. I was enjoying every second of being an asshole like I've never enjoyed anything else in the world. I fucking loved it. I have no idea why it had this effect on me, and none of my friends that did it with me felt anything similar.

As much as I enjoyed it, I'm not sure that 2CE is a good drug for me. I don't like to lose control and it made me feel dangerously self-destructive. Not to mention that if I keep doing it I think I will eventually make all my friends hate me.

I'll try it again for sure, but if it has the same effect again I don't think I will do it any more, the consequences just aren't worth it.
 
Well snorting 15 mgs is equivalent to eating 30 which with properly potent 2c-e is a large dose. Try eating it next time and using a lower dose instead. You shouldn't really do such a large dose for your first go at a substance. Also snorting it wouldn't be the kindest way to be introduced to 2c-e considering you go from 0 to 60 in a few minutes instead of gradually over a couple hours.
 
Rake, I think what may have happened to you, as Help said, is that you took too much. I'm guessing that this massive dose triggered an adrenaline release because you couldn't properly cope. This adrenaline would then cause fight-or-flight behaviours, such as hiding in a closet or acting like an asshole.

my friend (who is a lightweight girl, affected strongly by any and all psychoactive substances) took 17-18mg 2c-e orally. after the come-up, she became nonresponsive to external stimuli. her eyes were open but drowsy-looking, and her facial expressions indicated wonder, amazement, and happiness, but she could not speak or really acknowledge the presence of other people in the room. when she finally snapped out of it a few hours later, she said she was immersed in a fantastical world and couldn't recall very much of her visions.

2c-e is very powerful, and often less is more if you want to get something useful out of it.

I've seen a similar thing happen with LSD. One of my friends went into a basically catatonic state and was completely non-responsive. Happened twice actually. He didn't seem to have enjoyed it and doesn't seem to handle LSD very well. It's a little weird and kinda scary. You couldn't tell what was going on with him mentally at all.

I've done mushrooms a few times but other than that, not really. I've never had any other 2C-x or even acid.

To be honest I don't have any real interest in psychedelics. I don't have any desire to do mushrooms again. I will probably try acid eventually just to say I did it. But they just don't appeal to me like stimulants do. I pretty much only take drugs at raves, and then it's either E or coke. I don't even smoke weed. 2C-E was interesting to me as a stimulant, not a psychedelic.

Did I overdo it my first time? Maybe, but it was a hell of a ride and I loved every minute of it.

If I don't do it again, it won't be because I won't enjoy it, it will be because my friends won't enjoy my trip nearly as much as I do.
 
Sounds like you just overdid it to me, Rake. Psyches don't really work like many other drugs - more isn't always better or even desirable - you need to find your own personal sweet-spot with each and every one. If you're looking for a stim-type psyche that's easy on the head and good for raves then 2C-I may be more what you are looking for... but as you noted, psyches have their charms too :)
 
this past friday night i mixed 15 mg of 2C-E with 3 cc of water and drank it, after about an hour or twoi started to get a weird body feeling and i started to see a few lights in the sky that kept moving in circles. it did give me a bit of nausea though. about 30 mins later the visuals started to get a lot more active and i got the feeling of a strong and speedy yet dirty ecstacy roll. thats also about when it peaked but the peak didnt last as long as i wished it would. the visuals were about as intense as three hits of lucy that we normally get but there was no where near as much of a head-fuck as lucy and my head=space was much clearer. the 2C-E did fuck with my internal body temperature so parts of me were hot and some were cold. once i leveled out, the effects started to wear off rather quickly. overall it was a good trip but short. i took it around 6 or 7 pm and by 11pm, it was pretty much gone with only slight residuals.

this is kinda hard to explain but i do have to say that during the experience, i could really feel the chemical-ness runnin in my body
 
Anarchist, in case you haven't, you should really try smoking some cannabis during, or shortly after, the peak. That really makes the visual effects explode.
