^that doesnt sound like the effects of 20mg of 2c-d.
20mg is generally a pretty light dose.

im guessing it was the mephedrone (maybe sleep deprivation?) and what ever else he may have taken at the fest mixed with the 2cd that caused that reaction.

2c-d on its own is light as light can be...
 
thats what you would think ok but it was the 1st evening of the festival and my mate had a good nights sleep at home the nite before,over a 5 hour spell had about 6cans of lager and 2 100mg bombs of mepg ( approx ).
the 2cd was weighted on a scales.
on a previous music event same mate had drink and meph and 12mg of 2cd and had the time of his life,he reckons it was in his top 5 drug experiences.
ive done 2cd up to 40mg and know its a sweet drug.
he reckons he was "trapped" inside something for a few hrs.
he had no control over his body or mind.

I thought the ones that you shouldn't smoke were the halogenated ones and the 2cts, (sulfur up your lungs.. brrr!)

Smoking it isn't so great really. It's nowhere near as nasty as smoking 2C-I or 2C-C (they really are unpleasant smoked :|) but it's just not all that great. The trip is shorter (2C-D is already plenty short enough for me) and more intense but it's more of an "overloaded" type intense than an enjoyable intensity.

I'd definitely go with rectal admin for 2C-D as the oral dose is so high and 2C-D seems to be a relatively scarce one so worth conserving supplies. I quite like it snorted too actually which is probably the closest to smoked in terms of effects only much nicer. Still hurts quite a bit to sniff but it's one of the bearable ones (for me anyway).

I've also IVed it and it's probably the only 2C I've enjoyed IV but other than the low dose it has little to recommend it either really. I like to experiment with different MOAs but with 2Cs I've pretty much learned that rectal rules the routes. Or oral if you really don't fancy plugging it.

I would recommend not smoking any 2Cs but if you really feel the need then 2C-D is probably the least unpleasant one to smoke with the least bad side-effects - still quite a few more than you get with other methods though.

PS: I really don't know what kind of doses I've used for smoking 2Cs cos I've generally just eyeballed them but it's always been a small amount - probably similar to a nasal dose or quite possibly less. I've always just put a bit on the foil and used as much as required. Really don't recommend it though and won't be doing it again myself.

PPS: This is all for 2Cs not 2C-Ts cos I haven't smoked any of those cos I have very limited experience with them.
 
Damn.... snorting 2C-D doesn't really hurt but it has a super caustic taste and feel. Fucked up! :)

2C-D never really did it for me, I suppose I should plug the rest of what I have to see if it still doesn't have much potential then...
I get the pseudo-nootropic effect and stimulation, but it's so modest besides that!
 
My post is the wordy thing beside my name, Solipsis - that's where I usually put 'em ;)

I kinda love it for its modesty. It's one of my favourite 2Cs but very much on the recreational side of the psychedelic spectrum, for sure. And it does that magic thing to music that no other drug has come close to for me yet and is worth it for that alone, in my book :)
 
How much would you preferably take an by which route of administration?
 
25-30mg was a nice rectal dose as I recall - still fairly mild but certainly very pleasant. Been a while since I had enough to play with - gave most of what I had away cos I was expecting more that never arrived :\ - so my memory isn't too good on doses. I don't think I really even measured it all that carefully once I discovered how gentle it was. I know I went a bit higher than that but would have been eyeballed so couldn't really say 8)

That works out at 50-60mg orally or so which would be kinda mid-rangeish, I suppose. I would definitely recommend plugging it... but I always do ;)

Could (pretty sure I did) go higher cos it's very gentle and forgiving. 25-30mg plugged was a pretty sweet dose from memory though - very social, empathetic and greatly enhanced music :)
 
at low doses I always found 2c-d to be rather modest, but once you take it to higher levels it becomes more and more like a "classical" psychedelic. I gradually worked my way up to 125mg and that was very psychedelic. Too bad this one has all but disappeared from the market.
 
2C-D I think is really indescribably underrated in terms of its potential. On 2C-D, I have actually outright hallucinated and seen things that were not there in reality. I saw a floating eye-- and when it blinked, the eyelashes swirled and morphed into the wings of a butterfly and it flew away into the night sky (this happened on 155-165mg if I remember correctly). It was goddamn unbelievable at the time, and still one of the coolest experiences I've ever had on psychedelics. <3
 
2cd stays tofu untill around 80mg oral IME.

So far its the only psych ive plugged (30mg if i remember corrrectly).

and i agree with shambles, it does lean more towards the recreational side of the spectrum.
it can be deep, just as 2cb can be deep. but 95% of the time its just a good ol' time. Same with 2c-i IMIO.

the only 2c which consistantly feels "deep" and has things to teach you is 2ce of the ones ive tried (and i tried most of them)

No shit!?! I had a similar experience in roughly the same dosage range. I was walking around campus at night with a friend on a similar amount of 2c-d and saw a disembodied eye, or more precisely something that bore a close resemblance to the eye of horus. It was not all that dissimilar from a sculpture inside the university library at that campus. Strange though because the library was closed and it wasn't visible from outside. I hope to run across it again sometime, but because of the high dosage, it seems to have less "marketability" in the rc market and isn't nearly as available as it was 5 or 6 years ago. I've read about some studies that got as high as several hundred milligrams... bet that's quite an eye opener
 
Well I just tried 2C-D a couple of hours ago, first 10mg plugged, then 15mg more, but of those 15mg I think i lost some because the vodka kinda exploded in the glass when i tried to evaporate the alcohol too quickly in the microwave :S,.,.,.
But damn! This stuff is lovely! Not very psychedelic at this dose, but it really makes you feel smart and happy, without any type of body-load, for moments I almost forget that i took anything, its just me being very content and wise and writing comes so easy...
I think I just fell in love with this stuff.
 
2C-D is much undervalued I think. 20mg rectally is a very nice introduction to psychedelics. Higher doses can get a bit hairy in terms of it being a bit distressing on the come up if you're not a big fan of psychedelics. It's big brother, DOM is exceptional, which makes me think DOET would be the bee's knees in terms of psychedeic phenethylamijes (yet to encounter/try DOET).

Agree with shambles that rectally is the best ROA for te 2C- type compounds to protect them from gut MAO to a certain degree (don't like inhibiting them with MAOIs - they're there for a reson & who am I to argue with nature! :D)
 
tried this substance last night for the first time and all i can say is WOW. recently I've tried many 2c's, including 2cb, 2cc, 2cd, 2ce and 2ct7. with 2cd i really had some lower expectations, expecting to feel good but with minimal visuals. So i take 25mgs at about 10pm. at 11 i begin feeling euphoric as if i had taken maybe 1 pill of mdma, with very minimal visuals, almost non existent. this feeling continued till about 2am when out of the blue BAM, visuals turned on like a light switch. The visuals really reminded me of 2cb, lots of overlapping, patterns and great color enhancement. I also became very giggly, as I do on lsd. This continued till about 5am, then the visuals all but disappeared. Fell asleep fine at 6am. And I should note that I really did feel the nootropic effect of this substance from 5-6am. Was very impressed, looking forward to trying it again at a lower dose and a higher dose. grab this one if you can find it.
