Trying my first Research Chemicals tonight.. Quick questions. (Would be appreciated)

Hallå Bluelighters :)

Tonight is going to be my first encounter with a Research Chemicals (I'm also sure that the blotters I had before was a kind of RC but anyways...). I'm a bit excited about it and I have some questions if you can reply about them it will be cool =D

Tonight I'm going to try 2C-C (4-chloro-2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine). My baggie is labelled as 2C-C so I guess that's the right chem :P

So I have some questions :

1) I already make an "allergy" test 3 hours ago of a few mg (1-2mg) diluted in Vodka. Nothing happens so it may be good right ?

2) A friend suggested me to try 25 mg at first. It is a good starter dose ? I'm only 93 lb so do you think it will be strong ?

3) They are any risk dying from 2C-C at 25 mg right ? (I know that can be akward but since my encounter with these blotters I'm kind of suspicious)

4) I will be at my home but I will take the 2C-C when my parents will sleep (Don't worry I'm 18+) because I have nobody to trip with so... My only friend which like things like this is on holidays for 4 weeks so :(
The 2C-C is manageable alone or It will be too mindfuck to handle alone ? :\

5) In case of trainwreck... Lorazepam can be mixed with ?

6) I'm thinking to split the 25 mg in two so 12.5mg first to see how it will affects me. Do you know how many time should I wait before redropping the other 12.5mg ?

If someone on the board try it, what kind of side-effects have you experimented ? There is any list effect on Erowid about it :(

I read alot on Erowid and some Swedish boards but you know the first time is still a bit "exciting".

First of all I have to say I don't understand why 2C-C is layed on blotters. It's a compound usually used in 25mg+ doses. Blotters are usually for sub-milligram compounds or compounds in the 1-2 mg range (e.g. DOC, DOI). Blotters are also much more "hit or miss" than having the compound in powder form. Also, you can never be sure about the exact amount with blotters unless you do them yourself. Let's just hope the blotters are the strength they are supposed to be. I prefer my 2C-C in powder form and weighing the exact amount I want myself rather than relying on some sketchy blotters.

As to your questions. 3 mg at least eliminated the risk of it being a DOX compound, Bromo-DragonFLY, 25X-NBOMe or some other compound active in the sub milligram or 1-2 mg range. It doesn't mean it's good, just that it's not an extremely potent compound you're dealing with.

25 mg is fine, I had a friend who started with 15 mg and had a nice experience, although obviously not that strong. You won't die from 25 mg if you are sure it is 2C-C.. I usually use it in the 50-75 mg range.

2C-C is certainly very manageable and does not produce a mindfuck unless on heroic doses, it's a very clear-headed psychedelic. Easygoing too, I would add. It's certainly not a cosmic or spiritual experience. It's the most easygoing "true" psychedelic I have ever taken. It's a bit like a psychedelic with a very strong empathogenic aspect.

Benzos are safe with psychedelics unless you're drunk or high on some other stuff that shouldn't be combined with benzos. If you only take 2C-C, you can take benzos without worries.

As for side effects, 2C-C is the only classic 2C-X I have no side effects from. It's very calm and IME also slightly sedating.

If I would have to recommend a psychedelic to a first time user, it would be 2C-C. It's gentle, warm, easy to manage and has some nice visuals (on higher doses though). Just don't expect to meet God on the trip.

Thank you Cyanoide! Well I have 2C-C in powder form, it's kind of snowflake powder. I have 25 mg in gelcaps.

I might split it in two, so taking 12.5mg first... Do you know how many time it is preferrable before redropping ?

Do you think it can be taken alone easily ? I will be only with my toughts and parents sleeping so...

The blotters I had came from Belgium, I ate 2 and went to ER for high heart beat (They reported it as amphetamine in blood test so maybe a DOx compounds. It was my first experience with a psychedelic and the worst!).

Hope 2C-C is calm on the heart...Tack kompis! :)
 
Ah, sorry for the misunderstanding.

Blotters are indeed deceptive. My friend had blotters he was "sure" were LSD (he's experienced with acid), he couldn't tell the difference with 1/4 blotter. Well it turned out to be an extremely potent psychedelic amphetamine, later confirmed to be DOB. Absolutely horrendeous stuff. Very deceptive, feels like acid the first hour and then smash comes the speeeeeeeed and you're racing hyperspeed with an ego-boost as company.

A while ago I took 50 mg 2C-C and then took 25 mg 6 hours after (it was an unusually short 2C-C experience, it lasted only for 2 hours and dropped quickly), the 25 mg worked fine. Redose a few times with low doses if you want to find the right dose, just remember 2C-C is rather short-lived, small doses only work for a few hours. For me, even high doses are max 4 hours (edit: This is my experience, it may work longer for you).

I usually trip alone. 9 out of 10 times. Then I'm an introspective tripper who seeks for experiences that are hard or impossible to share with others. 2C-C is not especially thought provoking, I see a very small risk of any tought loops or nasty thoughts. As I said it's very warm and gentle, and your mind is quite clear.

2C-C is a phenethylamine so while it feels calm and maybe sedating, it will raise you pulse. Nothing like the psychedelic amphetamines though, I had very serious worries about my heart when taking DOB. I've never had that feeling with 2C-C.

What other psychedelics have you used and how frequently? If you've taken e.g. shrooms or acid in a moderate dose, you've already been further than 2C-C can take you. 2C-C is perfect to "mysa med" (hard to translate, a bit like cuddling, just having it very comfortable).

As for being at you parent's place, I've tripped on much "harder" psychedelics while at their place when they are asleep. I don't know if it's recommended but definately possible. As long as you're not noisy, if you feel very euphoric and it happens your parents ask what noises you have, just say you masturbate ;)

Mhhhh your answers are really nice, I appreciated it ! I already have a high pulse and prone to anxiety easily (I always have a benzo on hands). Do you think the 2C-C will be strong on heart ? My main concerns is about the heart-rate and BP on it. I don't really care about the mental effects since I like to naviguate in my own thoughts.
The blotters I had gave me really horrible high heart beat (over 200 BPM).

My TrainWreck on Unknow Blotters with no prior experience !
 
You might experience slightly elevated heartrate. But not tachycardia.
Go with 25mg, it will be a pleasant, chilling, sedative experience.
 
Thanks Bone14, just hope the slight elevated heartrate will not turn into a panic attack and tachycardia.... Is all the 2C-X have elevated heart-rate properties ? I have a friend which can have me every common 2C-X such as -C / D / B/ I / E / P / T-2 / T-4 / T-21.

I don't know really much about tripping and stuff, It will be my second time tripping and my first time with that kind of chemical.

Yes, they all elevate your pulse. Phenethylamines are by their nature physically stimulating.
 
My normal pulse is 70BPM, when I tried 2C-C It got up to 95BPM, on 2C-B 120BPM.

In generel, elevated pulse is harmless in short periods of time. For an example, you dont get a heartattack from doing cardio.
 
I wouldn't worry too much about 2C-C in particular if you don't have a heart condition or an extremely, abnormally high pulse and blood pressure.

Magnesium and taurine have done wonders for me with compounds that elevates my blood pressure (particularly MXE). Just remember never to resort to beta blockers with phenethylamines, beta blockers are fine with most tryptamines (not e.g. AMT though) but they can be dangerous in combination with phens, actually resulting in an even higher blood pressure that can be dangerous.

Yer you'll be fine I used to get terrible panic attacks 2cb didn't give one I think its cured them if anything
Didn't feel like it effected my heart
 
Glad to see you're having another exp. :-) your first post made me sad, sad to think of someone's first trip scaring them off of psychedelics all together.

You should avoid tripping if you have worries like that. Don't rush it, it's much nicer that way :)
 
Maybe on tryptamines, but 2C-C just gives a pleasant bodyhigh with some visuals, it doesn't really make you mind race with thoughts or mindfucks you. You can handle it, its no problem at all.

Why did you take the alprazolam before the trip? Anxiety, nervousness about the trip?

Maybe not the best setting for a trip if you have arguments with someone and feel irritated, on the other hand 2C-C will mellow out those feelings. A stronger psychedelic could only potentiate feelings like that.
