Nice thread.
There are so many ideas which I can type about, but ill try.
- I have learned that there is no meaning in life, and that is a good thing. If there was meaning, then that would be proof of fate and destiny, which means we would have no free will. Without free will, we could not explore such areas of the mind with these psychedelic substances. Well, maybe... I dunno.
- Psychedelics have helped me learn to stop thinking materialistically, and practice spirituality (meditation, yoga, martial arts). Spirituality has helped put meaning in this world, and has given me freedom.
- Psychedelics such as mushrooms and LSD remove the barriers of the ego, and create a universal consciousness between groups of trippers, resulting in pure understanding. This understanding is so deep, that words don't need to be used, just the pure experience of life, energy, and love. Since the barriers of the ego are removed, trippers often find they gain a close relationship with one another. LSD is known to make friendships last a lifetime. Even if the friendship is destroyed, the love is still strong, but the barriers of the ego have separated the connection between the people. Ego ego ego..
- Society is messed up. But this is okay, because power exists. Power is one of the things in life human beings strive for, and when the opportunity for power arises, we won't hesitate to take it. Well, most of us. Knowing this, it is easy to look at governments and laugh at the society they have created. It's just a joke.
These ideas have probably been mentioned previously, or in books, or in the internet, but the words came randomly from my mind, so that counts right??
