I know this is probably a virtually unanswerable question, but how many micrograms do you reckon it takes for relatively strong (yet not completely overwhelming) open-eyed visuals to occur. I'm something of a nerd about this; I'm just curious if there's any way to figure out or at least get a good estimate of how many micrograms I took. It was a really good, moderate trip, seemed like... one geltab I know was of great quality. I would guess 100-200 micrograms but then again I don't really know. Not a low-dose but definitely not a total mindfuck.

Definitely sounds like LSD you just had a small dose. Try double that and you will definitely get visuals.

am I the only one who suspects Bob Ross was under the influence of low dosages of acid when he was drawing those "happy little trees?"

Mum is coming to my town in April and I have a good amount of acid. So, of course I'd love to take a dose of acid before the concert, but the problem is I have to drive there, and since it's in Dallas I have to navigate through it. So a full dose is out of the question. Would say a half hit of decent blotter allow me to still have some driving ability on the way there and way back. Yes I know it's not smart to drive on any drug, but I really don't have any problems when I drive on weed, and since it's a half hit I'm curious how much it'll really effect my driving. (I plan on smoking some weed right before the concert to help bring out the acid for the 2 hours that it'll be going on.)

Also say I do take a half hit of this decent blotter, how would 3.5 grams of mushroom around 5 hours later be. Would it be lets say just as strong as a normal 3.5 trip? Stronger? Weaker?

Never never never never Never Never Drive on acid, my buddy JUST made this mistake a few days ago. Took half a hit so he would be fine to drive even though i PLEADED with him not to, he did anyways and guess what? He totaled his car!
 
Heh. Also never play "Eat acid at the dealer's house and try to get back to your house before you're too fucked up to drive".
 
^Amen to that, I have had several friends who stupidly ate acid and drove and not a single one has done it with out doing damage to their cars, self, or worse someone else.
 
Absolutely agree! I made the mistake of driving back from the beach while on a potent single blotter-- it was a task! You tend to lose sense of common driving routines and standard practices, which will usually leave you in an accident. Luckily I made it home fine (I followed other drivers on the road and didn't speed) but I think God helped me on that day. I'd never do it again.
 
yeah, the feeling you get when you're on acid and moving 35+ mph . . . not good for concentrating.
 
ok, so im going to the movies tomorow, and i have these tiny blotters of pure lsd (or so im told thats what it is) and we wanna stay sane, but get a buzz, would we get a buzz from cutting it in half, and taking half of that half (1/4)? or is it more then likely we wont feel anything
 
^ we can't tell you how strong your blotters are laid, unfortunately they are far from standardized; one hit might have you tripping pretty well, or might just have the "buzz" that you are looking for. the only way to know is to try it out or if you have the word of someone experienced who you trust who has tasted from the same batch.
 
Yeah driving on acid is bad news. I did it once to escape a really bad environment. I needed to get out. I was careful, but it was pouring with rain and i got lost for 25 minutes in roads i'd used a million times. It confused the shit out of me and at one stage made me extremely anxious. Once i found my way i was better but i wont do it again unless i HAVE too.
 
A friend of mine had a bad trip yesterday. Took two tabs and began running away from his sitters, ran a few miles into residential streets, and began screaming and stripped down completely naked. Of course the cops arrived soon, and it took 4 cops to get him down and handcuff him. Even now, I think I'm going to wake up and know that it was all a dream, but I really know it's not, and my friend could be in some serious shit.

damn... well more then likely he will get public nudity, and a few other things, but the only way he could really get in trouble is if he had acid on him. but unless it was, there shouldent be a big problem, maybe a weekend in jail... but what happens with his family could be the problem... rehab and such
