Since my first experience with LSD only a couple of months ago I've grown a love/hate relationship to it. Some times it seriously feels like you have just been given access to an extra dimension in the universe and the amazement/euphoria from that will keep me glowing for days afterwards. However other times it sends me into a major passive aggressive/scheming state of mind where I will manipulate anyone and everyone around me to get exactly what I want - this to me feels so foreign as even on meth I still feel like a calm and caring person.

Though I do admit as much as afterwards I hate acting that way, when I'm on it its like a constant feed of adrenaline to the brain. Scary, think I will need to keep to solo trips or raves where you can just let the music take over.

I bought my first lsd hit. The guy said it was 300 µg. When reading on erowid this is already an intense dose. How likely was it that the guy was not very knowledgeable in this area? For safety reasons I won't do 300µg to start. I was thinking about 100µg. Ofcourse, if he was wrong and this is a 100µg dose, I would be doing 33 µg which is too low... [the blotter art is a shiva, bought in Europe, but that probably doesn't say a thing]. Or what would be a realistic quantity I bought...

^Don't know the blotters, and can't speculate, but I doubt you'll get 300ug on a single hit. That said, always approach with caution- for your first trip half a decent blotter will give you nice effects without being too much.

I see you plan on thirding the blotter; even 33ug will be 'felt' not so much as trippiness but perhaps some rather unwanted stimulation and irritation. I would opt for half- 150ug (if it was possible thats what you would have) would be a nice strong-ish trip with little to worry about. Either way, tread cautiously with LSD and take it slowly. Most of all, be safe and have fun!

Well I guess he'd just wanted to promote his product. I've done several Shivas and they're approximately 100. You wont be having too much of a problem with one of thoose.

As an actor, I can tell you we all use and manipulate others for our own needs, wants, and desires. It crosses a line when you use others at their expense-- when you're using people AND causing them harm. I think on LSD you became aware of "The Game" of Life, and you consciously participated in it, which made you feel as if you were cheating. As long as you aren't harming other people in the process of getting what you want, play on playa. Life is a game, some go through life never figuring out how to play it, others are born with the skills to win it.

yeah but one can refrain from 2nd circuit mammalian emotional/territorial struggles and try to live as free as possible and de-conditioned. HOWEVER, one still needs to play the game to a certain extent to get bio-survival tickets (money) which is why de-conditioning is great through psychedelics and meditation and realizing what its all about but it is still necessary to know when to put the ego in place to stay alive.

I shall be doing my biggest dose of LSD yet tomorrow. I have been exploring it at lower levels. I'm told my hits are about 100ug with a 10% variation. I've had one hit in two halfs an hour apart, an experience with one half, and I used 1/3 for stimulant, mood enhancement (which worked very well).

Tomorrow I shall be taking 1 and 2/3 of a hit and then going for a walk in the forest/along the river with some music. I hope all goes well. If it does then my next experience will not be for some time when I shall probably consume the other 4 hits.

No pricing discussion, and this discussion of how much L is in a particular blotter is borderline anyway. We can't tell you. Individual batches vary and blotters are very easy to fake. It could be a strong dose, a weak dose, no dose at all, or even not LSD. Trusting your source is key, as is having access to testing reagents. Buying psychedelics from dealers who obviously are profit-motivated and who seem to know little about their product is generally not a good move. --SKL

Question - I have a slight cold right now and I was just curious how this might effect the trip. Would anyone care to share any experiences on having a slight cold whilst tripping (mainly just a runny nose and coughing)?

I disagree. Life IS a game, but it has no rules and constraints. Its the biggieheads in charge that are cheating and making the rules which makes us forget its a game. In life there are no winners or losers, but in the GAME of life there is. Instead of figuring out HOW to play it; play your own game. Its more fun, your the boss, and you can't win or lose; just keep playing.

Ok, one thing has been cleared up. It was 300 µg so I feel more comfortable by knowing the dose...

My first psychedelic experience was 13-15mg 2C-B in the woods... It was very beautiful... I was really fascinated by everything... I could control the visuals though.

Are there any similarities that I can expect? Or do I just need to see it myself? Or will I be be overwhelmed by the power of LSD? (and is 13-15mg 2C-B actually very mild).

if 5-MeO-DMT is your idea of a good time, i'd say go for it, assuming you are very comfortable with both chemicals; i'm not much for 5-MeO myself. smoking N,N-DMT, on the other hand, on an LSD peak is incredibl.
