Lately when I do K I get this nasty phlegm buildup in my lungs and it causes me to cough a lot of shit up. I know it's kind of gross, sorry. What the fuck though? I also notice chest tightness. Wierd, since I usually don't experience this, it's just been the last few days. Any input? Insufflated BTW.
Bad time of the year for cold infections. Maybe it's a coincidence - you've got a mild cold infection and the K has just exacerbated it. Happened to me when I snorted it in the middle of a bout of the cold.
I don't know if it's a cold, but It's not happening anymore, what was that about adulterants?

I think it's on a different level. Shrooms and LSD rather do their antidepressant work on an intellectual level (by showing you alternatives and a clearer view on what you do and why), where ketamine seems to do it on a more basic chemical level, just like a regular antidepressant might do.

At least, that's what I think. I'm no doctor, nor have I explored the real psychedelic depths of ketamine (as in: K-hole).

To me, Ketamine is truly a wonder-drug when it comes to depression. I have been using it as such for at least four years now, and not only has it never failed me, but I also never had any trouble controling it and never had dependence issues.

For this last year I have standardized my use and experienced full recovery from depression. Basically, for one week every month, I would have a constant steady level of low doses (about 10-20mg) by taking little bumps whenever needed. Mind you that these doses aren't recreational and that I'm a fully-functional person during that week (in fact, perhaps more functional than when sober!).

At the end of such week, I would simply stop (generally I buy 4g, and it will run out within a week, and I simply don't buy more till the next month). I experience no withdrawals, and the antidepressant "glow" lasts for at least a couple of weeks afterwards.

Your experience may vary, but Ketamine has literally saved my life more than once.

I'd become a sex-slave to anyone who makes an extended-release Ketamine patch for depression ;)

Some people report seizures on ketamine. Best to avoid this stuff.

Last time I took an oral dose of about 250mg S-Ketamine, I was really shaking! I'm certain it wasn't a seizure but it really felt like a super electric charge through my body and I kept "shaking it out". Lying down in bed, of course.

seizures though, really...

Have you ever thought about trying to make this yourself?

I also agree ketamine has some good anti-depressant effects...it has a lot to do with lowering stress levels I think. But, for me it also tends to make me a bit more self-centered and egotistical, which I don't really like.

Nothing but agreement from this end. K is both a wonderful anti-depressant and treatment for alcoholism. Honestly, it helped SWIM curb some other addictions as well... You seriously cannot beat good ol' vitamin k as a recreational drug: hard to OD on, professionally synthesized, relatively safe, you come down off of it quickly (so if you can't be confined to a trip for 4-10 hours it's a real blessing), such varying effects depending on dosage... Truly a blessing. If only things locally hadn't gone to shit with my amigos... :( I wish things would go back to the way they were before this last New Years, because with the turn to 2008, everyone serving it up locally either stopped or started getting sheisty... Lame. People suck. (Not you guys though... =P). I wish I knew where to find the lovely girl outside of my location or at least through some more righteous folks who didn't play games... Lame. Peace, ninjaZ.

I tried the method you suggested, but I still forgot too much. I took 80mg first then half an hour later took 30mg, both IM. That was one of my most forgettable trips.

Would it help if i drank like, 500mg of it? Like, pull out all the ketamine from the vial in a syringe into a glass and drink it? Will it help with remembering the experience and prolong it any? And is it okay to drink it directly?

As for depression, I'm of mixed opinions. Thanks to ketamine I don't feel suicidal anymore. But I've noticed that whenever I come back from the k hole there's this strange feeling of loneliness that nothing can compare to. I never feel so lonely as I do after a k hole. anyone else get that loneliness? It's like I'm the only person with a soul in the entire world and everything is just a simulation in my mind.

Are there any meditation techniques or anything that can help me get the most out of the k hole? plus any other drug I can take that can help me remember more?

I don't really know what to suggest for the amnesia. The only thing that's likely to stop it happening is the build up of tolerance ande I'm not going to suggest building it up. I've never actually done ketamine orally because of it's reputation for damaging stomachs. It's bad enough after a stint doing lots up the nose without putting it straight down there as far as I'm concerned. If you've got a strong stomach then doing it once or twice shouldn't be a problem though. To get the most out of the k hole try sensory deprivation. Lie down in a dark room and don't move about, either with or without a bit of music.

Also, be very careful about using drugs to deal with your depression, it wont help in the long run.

I have had similar mental implosions on ketamine ;)

spacenod, consider using a phenethylamine (2C-x or 2CT-x) with your ketamine, some report that this enhances the recall from the higher dose K trips. ymmv.

^okay i'll try using 2c-e next time with ketamine.

has anyone had problems with ketamine abuse? Yesterday I finished a 500mg vial IMing it all day. It was one of the strangest days of my life, considering that my mom caught me tripping and found my vials (which i pretended to throw away but hid somewhere else, and promised never to do it again).

I'm thinking of cutting down on ketamine significantly, like only taking it at night or after a few days. its just SO tempting.

Ketamine addiction is not unheard of, so be careful indeed. People won't rob grandma for it, but if you have some around, it's very tempting to use it.

I am going through a mindfuck withdrawl from k right now. I only ever snorted it, but lots and lots almost every day, and let me tell you, I wouldnt but some would rob your grandma for it. Watch out, I find it a worse addiction and withdrawl than heavy cocaine usage. If you want to use it, do it once a week for a couple days, no more.:\

ketamine is SOOOOOO good for killing boredom. A nice shot of K in the thigh and you can walk the sme street over and over again with new results. It turns the act of insanity into something sane.

YAY for ketamine.

reading this thread really makes me want to try K again, this time at MORE than lightly active dosages mixed with lots of other stupid drugs.

sometimes if I have too much K I get these horrible whiteys coming on, I know I am fucked up, I can literely feel my bits of my brain closing down leaving me feeling retarded. I feel wekk and truly wired during these episodes and even when the line has worn off the recovery from the state I am in takes up to another 2 hours to feel normal again.
Anybody else have these frightening terrible episodes?
