I find it to be a very nice euphoria, extremely calm, focused, happy and a sense of 'freedom' in thoughts. Little to no existential anxiety and depression- tis certainly a gift. Doesn't last though, no matter what I've done....:\

what about sources that are neither outside or inside, but both simultaniously, where the inside outside line is just a point along a much greater line.

Oh I see the picture perfectly crisp and clear, and I see what you are saying. It's just if you can look past the fact that you are taking a drug, this material item, and just go to observe different experiences, whether catalyzed from the inside and outside...it provides the same kind of insight.
 
What I am saying is that drugs are not required for true inner exploration...nor is it required to explore without drugs in order to have this true inner exploration.

Two different paths can lead to the same exact place.

drugs are NOT true samadhi.
 
You can become enlightened (or at least have a kensho/sudden realization experience) tripping on psychedelics just like you can become enlightened taking a dump.

Stop this man, its becoming dull....I don't think you can presume to know anything more then other people, and this holier then thou shit is dull. Good for you that you've discovered religion (think Karl Marx) but PLEASE- don't hound others about it- or do it privately. I'm going to unapprove a bunch posts from here that are OT.

hey I've done a few different acid-base teks. Honestly, your best bet is doing a 'straight to base' extraction. Search for that...its so simple. When you get a finished product, if its a little dirty (yellowish with tannins), you just do a recrystalization (takes only a few minutes). You end up with a very clean product (pure white or even translucent) with only a little work and no need to muck around with acidifying the solution, etc.

just load that shit up with base (a LOT of NaOH!). Make it basic as FUCK, it will strip a ton of alkaloids out of the plant and then you just use naptha to extract it (then evap voila).
