apparently he's going to fiddle around and make a few dubstep tracks because it's 'popular in the clubs.' lol..
discuss what this means for dubstep in the future. bad news? or good? dubstep has been receiving a lot of recognition recently, what with skrillex being nominated for 5 grammys (I won't disclose my thoughts on this).

what’s big right now are beats that are in the clubs, like dubstep. So i want to mess with that stuff, but also stay me.

HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS BIEBS? Arent you like 13?!

That's awesome b/c my 5 y/o daughter was just telling me the other day how she needs tracks that are "wonky yet accessible".

yes, i do remember hearing a britney dubstep track at one point.. so it did not surprise me either. dis shit's what's hot in da club!!!!!!! :D :D :D

and lol at "wonky yet accessible"..... your 5 year old is very intelligent!

She is smart but didn't really say that. I was paraphrasing. Her words were more like "Baby, Baby, Baby,/ I thought you'd always be miiiiine." She loves Bieber.

I don't understand why girls like him.. I'm 18 and I don't think he's attractive at all.. he looks like he's twelve.. I'd feel like a pedophile if I was hitting that shit.

And I thought dubstep couldn't lose any more credibility!

I think he tends to go for the pre-teen/young teen market. So maybe something like 10-16 year olds?

This is very old news tbh.
I'm really surprised the rest of the world is far behind on the current news.
Lady Gaga & P. Diddy already jumped on the dubstep bandwagon less than a year ago.

Dubstep is so mainstream now that it's no longer called dubstep or brostep.
The entire genre is now defined as PeopleStep
PeopleStep is so popular now among tweens that it makes Madonna seem underground.

I hate to be all hipster, but I just.. don't like the mainstream dubstep. All the sounds and noises have just gotten so repetitive. Occasionally, there's the odd decent/catchy tune, but for the most part.. I'll stick to my preferences :)
I'm pretty sure the biebz is just going to follow the trend. After all.. he even admitted it himself. Sheep.

I met skrillex I have a picture ill post sometime when I go to library and use le wifi but I met him in 2007 when he was just known as Sonny Moore.

Anyways Bieber is a fucking *insertsomethinggayrighthere* and he deserves to be shot. In the end this isn't a shocker... Everyones doing it nowadays the whole dubstep scene is going to shit because of these fucking hipsters.

Shit I even know a stripper (friend of a friend) chilled with her a couple of times and she strips to dubstep... Wtf this movement is going overboard especially when so many people are like I LOVE DUBSTEP PLUR and they can't even name one artist.
