I hang here before you
lifeless and alone
Cast out by helping hands of the world
Pleading with the nothing I have left
My body drips with sin
Staining untarnished objects around me
The noose around my neck
Intertwined with envy and hate
tightens stealing the breaths I struggle to take in
The whip that strikes my back
Is tattered and tied with shards of glass
Ripping me away from you
The crown upon my head pierces my mind
Releasing my emotions into your sight
Flooding your eyes and drowning you with regret
In all oblivion you place me on a pedestal
I float high above your foolishness
Separated by the cross you force me to carry
Remember, I bare the weight of the world
And still rise above
Remaining your better half.

This piece is great! I love the imagery and the message you convey. Bending the truth into reality brings the fallacy into the eyes of the beholder. Very awesome piece. much props
