The best & worst tasting drugs?

I cannot believe that the taste of mushrooms is enjoyable though I've never had fresh ones. Someday. I wanted to mention that while LSD doesn't really have a taste, I like how my imagination seems to start running when the blotter hits my tongue, sort of like when one takes the first bite of a really spicy food. I sort of get the feeling, and while this may sound obvious, cliche, or dumb, that I have done so much more than just dropped a bit of paper on my tongue.
 
I agree that mushrooms taste great. I never understood the hatred for that taste.


The best tasting drugs to me, however, are opiates. They taste like shit when you aren't adjusted to them, but after a positive relationship with them is formed, they taste delicious. Oxycodone tastes the best, followed by heroin. I can't remember how oxymorphone tastes, but I remember enjoying it. There are some similarities in taste that let me know that I'm tasting an opioid, and my mind and body adjust accordingly, allowing me to feel better 15-30 minutes before the shit even kicks in. Best taste in the world.

The only exception would be buprenorphine. For some reason, this one tastes like shit no matter how used to it I am. I'm not just talking about Suboxone with all the nasty ass sweeteners, but Subutex as well. I can chew up six percocets with all that APAP right there and not gag, but if I allow that bupe to escape the pit of my tongue and get onto any taste receptors, I feel like I'm about to throw up, even though I've been doing it twice a day for three or four years now.

Oh, and coke also tastes delicious. I don't particularly like the feeling, nor do I hate it, but it is hard to deny that it tastes good. And anything involving high grade weed also tastes good.
 
Puna Buds and above all Opium hands down. Floral, nutty, hard to describe. Good tar- the kind that taste bitter, no sugary or vinegar taste, maybe an aquired taste but it has a good, hard to describe heroin taste to it, almost sweet in smell but not taste... I'm talkin about the fire shit that leaves a grey trail and melts quickly....been a while for me on all the above materials, though.

Well, I really like the bitterness of that nice drop of acid. It takes my mind places, I wander around my memories. I relate the flavour to really nice experiences. I love the anticipation it causes me; the wait, for that inevitable kick, that is momentarily about to knock you off your boat. Once the drops hits your tongue, there's no way out. :)

used to like MJ, now it just tastes like shit to me
 
The old formulation 80mg green oxycontin had a good taste with its drip. Had an old one this past weekend that was sitting around for over 2 years.
 
i love the taste of an opana 40mg crushed and snorted. maybe just because i know what is coming soon. i swear it has the taste of like dry cereal too. i really hope someone else out there knows what i'm talking about
 
I really liked the earthy taste of the heroin I used to get, as it would drip down my throat...

I've grown pretty fond of these lately. Yeah, I do love the taste of Opana. But then again, I love the taste of all opiates. Its sort of an aquired taste I imagine...but once acquired its hard to imagine anyone else not enjoying it.

15 years ago I definitely didn't see myself chewing up pills or putting raw shards of meth on my tongue without gagging. Jesus...
