Hell no. My drama teacher last year was obsessed with that word. I heard it more times over the two shows last year than I think I ever will again in my life.
I definitely agree with traffice about his word: onomatopoeia... it's been my favourite for a long time.
It just rolls off my tongue. When i first learned the word in primary school, i set about trying to use it in every sentence. Obviously couldn't... how often does a sentence call for the use of the word onomatopoeia?
