No it doesn't. You don't manipulate those you truly love. You just flow.

Manipulation is what happens when you realise you aren't in control but you wish to be.


It's a controlling mechanism. Pointless but none the less hurtful.

I'm not sure you understand where I'm coming from.

There's deliberate manipulation, which is one thing. You never consciously manipulate the one you love, I agree - otherwise, you don't truly love them.

Then there are a million things which 'healthy' couples do from day to day, which, when it comes down to it, are manipulative, pure and simple. It's often done not out of a conscious desire to 'control', but something as innocuous as a hankering for the other's affection. Which in itself is a form of control, but that's a whole other can of depressive worms.

I'm sure Erikmen knows what love really means. Maybe his perspective is just different to yours.

Not all of us are in the honeymoon stage of a new relationship, you know. :)

Sure, I've had 'pure' love with sweet nothings, and the small birds singing in the trees. I've also had love which beat me up emotionally. Fact is, they were both love.

No love is "pure" just isn't.

Don't forget that though new love may be honeymoon I still know rather well the effects of love lost. It was never my intention for the two to overlap.
 
Puppies love you right back x2 and then shit gets ridiculous because you get caught in an exponential multiplier effect of who loves who more until you just cant stand it anymore and stamp them to death and then blow your own head off with a shotgun....

This is why they wont let me in Little Critters anymore
