I hope this is the correct place for this thread, I did a quick search and came up empty handed.

Just wanted to have this be a place for general adderall experiences and 'Does Anyone Else' questions.


Quick about me
21 years old. Prescribed 20mg x2 daily for the past 7 months. Occasional recreational use for 4 years.



Does anyone else have trouble burping when on adderall? I constantly feel like i have to burp but i cant. I have to swallow air to burp. I attribute it to being tense and so my stomach muscles tense up like im burping but im no doctor.

Anyone else have trouble obtaining and maintaining an erection while on it? My doctor said he had never heard of that side effect but a quick search online said it was common.

Can anyone else drink for days on adderall? im 5'9 and 140lbs...and i can knock back at least 10-15 beers when im having a 60mg+ night.

Does anyone else seem to get tired after doing enough in a single sitting? When i do 70 or so mg in a night, i seem to get dead tired shortly after and have to go lay down and do that "adderall half sleep" as me and my girlfriend call it.




Again i hope this thread is ok. I just found these forums and dont want to piss anyone off!

This is common, and is a result of the vaso-constricting effects of Adderall (and other amphetamines, many stimulant RCs such as mephedrone).

It is also why some people have problems keeping an erection while on higher doses of amphetamines.
 
How does adderall make you lose weight?

i honestly dont understand why my friends think that its some magic medication that will make you lose weight.
 
it dramatically reduces your appetite, and you can easily go days without eating on it, plus food tastes gross, but its safe to eat atleast a little bit, to avoid increased shit after effects.

Back in the 50s and 60s, amphetamines like Adderall were used to be prescribed as weight loss drugs, until the early 70s when people started realizing it reduces appetite to an unhealthy level and has other problems with addiction, heart problems, and other things of that nature.

Adderall is quite effective at killing your appetite, messing up your sleep schedule and reducing the effectiveness of your immune system, all things that make you lose weight.

However, tolerance to the anorexic causing effects of Adderall and other amphetamines appears quite fast, so your friends may lose weight in the short term, but the negative side effects and the fact that it will quickly lose its effectiveness should deter your friend from using Adderall to lose weight.

Methamphetamine is FDA approved for the treatment of ADHD and exogenous obesity, marketed in the USA under the trademark name Desoxyn.(source)

According to the Erowid page for it, amphetamine and methamphetamine we're technically legal (uncontrolled, maybe not available in stores/pharmacies up until this time) until the passage of U.S. Drug Abuse Regulation and Control Act of 1970.

I remember reading on a different source that Benzedrine inhalers and Dexedrine, Methedrine, and many other amphetamines were available OTC during the 40s, 50s and maybe into the 60s.
 
Okay, I have a question about how long adderall will stay in my system considering all the info I'm about to give right now... I'm 5'10, weigh about 165, I have a fast metabolism & I'm very active, mainly muscle, & fairly lean. If I took 60 mg of Adderall IR on friday morning at 7:00 AM on Monday and had to give a urine test (standard 5 panel drug test with THC, BENZ, OPIATES, COC, & AMP) on Wednesday at 7:00 PM, will I pass? Also considering if I ran 1 & a half hours on a treadmill & sat in a Sauna for 30 minutes everyday (Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday) & also drank a bottle of cranberry pills, (for liver), a bottle of charcocaps, (for intestines), & also colon cleansing pills along with two gallons of water everyday will I pass the test?....:!
 
There's a good chance you wont.. It normally takes around 4 days.

But drug testing questions aren't allowed on BL.
