The ACIEEEEEEEEEED!!! Appreciation Thread

Since taking acid again the other day for the first time in a while, everything in my life has suddenly clicked into place again. Does everyone else find that if you have been trying to work stuff out for a while, take some acid and then it sorts itself out?

I know exactly what you mean. Things just seem to fall in to place. (Sorry about the dam mate, we tried ringing and texting but couldnt get it to work. Stupid bloody geordies eh?)

Right at this minute? I'm guessing that TM is probably asleep, and the other two? Well I suppose that they also have a life too. Surely we don't want nazi, tight controls like some other forums on here. I suppose they'll deal with it if enough people complain about others who are causing conflict or problems on here, or whatever way is seen as fit.

They can't be here all the time mate, please use the report function if there's something you want to draw to their attention. Sometimes PM'ing a mod (or all of them) directly is quicker though.

As Pekkie alluded to, we all (mods included) have a life away from bluelight, as hard as that may seem ;)

I cleaned up a lot of shit last night, went to have some dinner and look at a flatshare, came back and cleaned up the rest. Sure it's not instant but EADD has pretty much 24hr round the clock modability thanks to T-M being in Aus and Rushes and I in the UK. Things get done eventually ;)

And as Felix said, please pm/email any of us if you have any gripes :)


Does the forum need more mods? I think it's up to you all to decide that..

Not being funny or anything but why would anyone want to be a mod? I cannot see any benefits from it, some please tell me. Preferably a mod, duck racker?
 
There are few benefits to be honest but sometimes one can actually help someone and that is most gratifying. Someone has to do it though spade or we wouldn't have a forum and I for one value BL pretty highly as it's made some things happen for me which otherwise I doubt would have.

I don't think there are any benefits to being a mod aside from the vast library of midget porn in the staff forums ;)

I enjoyed contributing here as a bluelighter and i continue to do so being a mod. I'm happy to give up some of my day helping the forum run smoothly because I firmly agree with what bluelight stands for and because EADD has given me a lot in the past 4 years.

Yeh I like EDD as much as the next poster but I can't fathom wanting to do what must be a rather tedious job of deleting posts etc. Would take away from the fun on using the forum.
