a fishy smell (such as meph) could indicate a chemical such as methylamine being used in the process possibly as a precursor.

Thats maybe an impurity.. if it was freebase it would not have dissolved at all, and I suspect 6-APB freebase is a liquid anyway, and in that case it would form a distinct layer upon addition to water.

I don't want to put my health or life at risk for a dunt. I can get mdma so I may just wait for reports to try this.

Is the only other alternative state to freebase a HCL salt or can it come onanother form ( Sorry for my lack in chemistry knowledge )

as i had to scrape what little sample i had off of the bag and the capsule it probably was just impurities caused by me scraping at it and the fact that i only used a tiny amount of water to dissolve it in.

true, i've had large crystaled meph that didn't smell and fine powder that stunk so it's probably just a sign of it's age and whether or not it's reacted to sunlight.
 
It appears the "official" pellets (which some say is just a marketing ploy..) contain magnesium. Would this be for aiding bruxism or is there any other reason it would be included?

Magnesium certainly wouldnt aid bruxism, if anything it would reduce it. Usually magnesium stearate is used as a filling / caking agent
 
Few comments here....

At least some of the samples of 6-APB sent out from benzofury distributors are a different chemical from 6-APB. Possibly 6-APDB. Whatever it is, this batch is significantly stronger and qualitatively superior (IMO). The other sample batches were apparently consistent subjectively with the other batches of 6-APB.

What i'm pretty sure is real 6-APB results (no pic yet, as camera cable is AWOL):
6-APB turns marquis orange, and mecke red/green, and mandellin light yellow.

The benzofury from that one batch at least, turns marquis weak black/grey, mecke black, mandellin black.

5mg of 6-APB would produce only mild stimulation. At 15mg or so, it will be more apparent that it is not a straight stimulant.

6-APB freebase will probably be a waxy solid, but it could be a liquid

Jibbyjab - that looks like the same suppliers packaging (down to the little mark to the right), but that's not the same NMR i got from him. The NMR i got from his website is hideous (the non-aromatic section is hopeless mess from solvents), but the aromatic section clearly confirmed a benzofuran ring with 1 substituent. Yours is suspicious, because there are 2 peaks with no splitting, while there should be 1.


The magnesium in the pellets is in the form of magnesium stearate. It is one of the most common binders in pills (as is MCC which they are also using).

If I personally was pressing pills, i'd press them with as little binder as possible, with vitamin C as a bulking agent (i vaguely recall reading a paper where it was found to have some neuroprotective effect when coadministered with MDMA. At worst, it wouldn't do any harm, and it's dirt cheap in bulk.

I didn't get that nmr from the same place I got my gram from. I found that from a new source. Is my nmr the same as the one shambles posted in the ADD or different because the source I got it from is supposedly supplied by the same lab as the "official five" but isn't one.
 
This shit will blatently never turn up and if it does by some miracle it certainly won't be E mark 2.

RC sites are as honest as Car salesmen.

This threads an amusing read to some degree though.

@Sancho: don't do your substance testing on paper. I once wiped a plate full of Marquis/Mecke/Mandelin after testing a bunk pill and the tissue went black and dissolved. Not sure this is a general rule, but I think that if the medium you are testing on is paper or tissue, it will alter the results greatly.

Thanks for the advice but I didn't do the Marquis myself. The image was from a vendor.
 
I think it will turn tissue black because it contains sulphuric acid which will burn the paper.

How long does it take for the 'official' samples to go black?
 
^ yeah so have I, but I can't be fucked waiting round now for what may or may not be 6-apb, apbd, whatever it might be....

If it turns out that everyone is loving this chem, i'll prob try and buy a bit when all this initial mayhem calmed down a bit, hopefully be available as a powder, and a bit cheaper...I suspect the Official 5 are hoping for a ban ASAP, I reckon they're planning on selling a shitload of pellets at inflated price, making as much noise as posssible anout it so it gets banned before any other synths make it to market even.....I reckon they might have left it a bit too long though..

In the meantime I'm happy with what I got. Happier than ever in fact.

At the end of the day the goverment have shown they can ban stuff pretty quick, you just have to see what they done with naphyrone. If this is still about in three months time i'll be suprised, so it All seems a waste of time to me, 2 months hype vs two months sales, christ that'll mean that we wont have anything for six months of the year YIKES :!
