Heroin The #3 in Germany has a speedy effect.

When smoked, it does immediately increase heart rate and there's this unmistakable anxious feeling. I'm pretty certain, that this is from the caffeine that has been heavily added to the cut. The stimulating effect of #3 here in Germany, is undoubtedly of the caffeine-type. Shouldn't H immediately drop the heart rate ?

What are your thoughts on this ?

I don't get this #3 or #4 or#1 or #insert number here - in the UK we have gear - generally can smoke or IV it. Occasionally people seem to claim they've been sold injecting gear when they try to smoke it but I am not convinced. What is this about differing numbers of heroin?

Brown "Afghan" type Heroin, the smokeable one.

It's different grades of refinement, from crude base to pure hydrochloride.

#3 is good for smoking and requires heating and acid to render it injectable. It is brownish in colour. #4 is white, of greater purity and potency, and will readily dissolve in cold water.

If you are in the UK (like me), or in fact anywhere in Europe, the heroin you get will generally be Afghan, ie #3.

You'd be a lucky devil to come across #4 here, which mostly comes from SE Asia. Australians have that as their main source btw.

Would you agree with my op statement?

Where I currently live in southern Europe we get afghan that’s identical to the #3 base but does not require citric acid to dissolve and prepare for injection just water and heat, I am to understand this is afghan #4 because I am very familiar with #3 as it’s all you get in Northern Europe and I also have a fair bit of experience with Asian white heroin (a.k.a china white) which is usually white or off whiteish grey (I’ve seen yellow and light tan but this heroin is way stronger and mixed with cold water dissolves rapidly.
