Can you fall asleep easily, I have sleep problems but would try gabapentin but let me check

18 hours is usually when I start feeling the withdrawal come on. Yeah I fall asleep easy but Suboxone has always given me respite depression when I’m falling asleep so I stop breathing and then wake myself up with a big jump/breath . Once I’m asleep I’m usually fine though

The codeine might be your best bet fight off withdrawals till you can get more subs for a taper, the benzos might produce a worse addiction like one of the ones I have.

I am on Valium to get off Ativan which I used for 6 years but I can control my use of benzos and opiates. I am an ex alcoholic and it is my main addiction but thank God I cannot drink anymore, I am now allergic to it. Can you get more subs for a slow taper?

My concern is that I realized benzos can cause an addiction worse than opiates if used too long, I am on Valium. The reason I got on oxycodone, morphine and Ativan was because in 2015 I was given one year to live without a liver transplant, but I said fuck I rather die, but here I am alive and my liver healed some and some of the pain went away, I tried getting off everything but managed only the morphine, but still use a low dose of oxy 40mg a day and switched from Ativan to Valium.
My doctor prescribed me clonidine, gabapentin and upped 30 to 40 MG of oxy and I live Michigan and got a medical Marijuana card but it don't matter because it is legal, you can even grow12 plants if you want, I don't use it but I heard Marijuana edibles work for some people and a heart medication clonidine in off label use, non schedule drug along with gabapentin to get off morphine.
The benzos may cause problems.

Oh shit, I heard they always gave a lot of them, guess not, but you are on a low dose. I would try to get some sleep and then try codeine till you get more suboxone, then try slow taper. Iam concerned about what you said about breathing problems with the benzos, you might want to try sleeping while you feel fine. Is that a possibility then try codeine till you get more suboxone for a slow taper?opps it is subs that caused breathing problems.

Well I live in New Zealand, and things are quite different here when it comes to prescribing Suboxone and methadone. To be prescribed Suboxone you have to do a full assessment and the wait times are often very long (a couple of weeks) before you’re even seen. I was on the Suboxone program here but I couldn’t take having to go into the pharmacy every single day and take the medication in front of the pharmacist so I decided to exit the program and get them on the street, problem with that is it’s very unreliable. Am thinking of going back on the program but by the time I get my first dose I’d likely be through the worst of the withdrawals

Oh shit, how strong are the codeine pills, how may mgs per tablet and do they have acetaminophen/paracetamol in them?

Oh good, paracetamol kills livers, they might be your best bet with benzos while you are awake because of breathing difficulties mixing the two but 30mgs isn't as bad as those ones in Canada with12mg codeine and paracetamol.
I read that withdraw is 7-10 days, at least it isn't methadone which takes weeks, try codeine and small amounts of benzos to try to counteract withdrawals but stop benzos if breathing problems arise. America's medical system is different but 7-10 days of benzos shouldn't be an issue if you try to use them moderately. Try codeine and benzos in moderation while wide awake to see reaction it might help. I get the impression that seeing a doctor can take a while in New 🇳🇿 but America has different issues. Clonidine is a heart med used off label to help, my doctor gives them to me, non controlled
I can only say that if you can use codeine and benzos till withdraws pass, then taper codeine down you might be able to be done with opiates. Lucemyrais a drug used for withdrawals(lofexidine hydrochloride) not sure of availability in New Zealand, but if you can make it 7-10 days on codeine and benzos and try some gabapentin it can reduce sy.ptoms but all three are addictive but 7-10 days is not a hugh issue, try the temezipam(mis) also it is a longer lasting benzo and less likely to cause problems but Ativan will take some symptoms away. Hopefully the codeine will take care of some or more of opiate issues but take in moderation cause mixing the two is not that great, I did it with oxycodone. Morphine and Ativan but at therapeutic levels, not a problem.
You may have to taper codeine down, if they work you may be done with opiates.
