don't look in the obituaries. please. thank you. And I'm really fine and will be doing completely okay. i have a home and am busy and i have responsibilities now that i am completely healing with everything. i don't need complications or to be siphoned. i'm out and i have things to do now.

thanks for all of the support and everything that i have learned because of it. Like i said don't look for me. don't wonder. don't look in the newspapers. i want to be private with my own sober life now please.

i'm fine. me and my dog are going to be just fine. everything actually turned out alright. thanks. very much.

********

I love how it's so social in here right now. anyway thanks.

Sounds pretty good @Ki3ly . That's pretty much what I've been doing. Trying to live 1 day at a time. I work a full time job now, so my day's are pretty busy, which I'm grateful for because a little over 4 months ago i was homeless, sleeping in my car wondering where my next meal would come from. I'm really glad that I got involved with recovery on day 1, and for 3 months or so I was centered with other people in recovery.
I now live a pretty quiet life. Pretty much just do my own thing. I live in a sober house of sorts, and have got pretty affordable rent. Bluelight has always held a place in my heart, and will always be around, but there are times when it's good to step back and take a break. Hopefully you find interesting things to do @Ki3ly . Life's way to short to be worried about the past. You are who you are! Please take care ❤️

Oh Dude. @Ds you have been through so much. I can hardly believe it.

But I definitely do. One thing that is certain though is that you are Amazing !!!!!!!

Thank you for proving how Strong that we all actually can be. <3

I have one more addiction to get rid of and then I can finally move on. Or actually have to.

I have a lot of work ahead of me and will be busy doing so. It took quite a long time tapering

down to the very last annoying habit. Drinking too many of those Energy Drinks seem to just

make me feel really ashamed that I have to always be hooked on one thing or another. I am

so close but am to the point that it has to stop now. I love drinking water but not if one of those

drinks are a choice.

I really wish I well never have to look at another one of those flavored drinks in my life. It might seem

minor however it is a real mountain for me. I actually think Norco wasn't as near as unhealthy as these

silly drinks are. The sodium is awful. They are just too much. Anymore.

I'm thinking of switching to apples and lemon juice and I am as serious as I can be this time. I don't want

to die of sodium and artificial coloring and just be healthy away from it all. I fought so hard and made it except

for Energy Drinks as one bad habit that seems like it is not that easy to stop. I don't want to be taken out

by artificial drinks. I am trying to make that effort to stay healthy to feel better from whatever I can do to get

through this last little bit of effort that seems too huge at the moment. It seems so simple to just stop.

It's only some drink, right. But no, it has not been with these flavored caffeine drinks. To me it seems like

all that I have left now. I can't seem to say no. Yes, it's very difficult to the very bitter end.

I want CT from these. That's how bad it is right now with always having to restock and say just this one more

time. I really want to stop drinking this poison and be free again. I think I will make it and then just try to stay

busy and definitely focus on all of the work that I have ahead of me and will have to be done.

Nice website though. I know that the information here can and always does help so many in need no matter

what the substance or amount is and does to one's health and well being. It's seems so little and yet is huge

somehow. It seems so insignificant but is so very huge to me right now. Little steps with big results. However,

my Drink consumption still goes up, not down. I drank one today and I hope that there aren't any more

laying around somewhere. I really am wanting for this to be my last one ever and not have to ingest another

one forever. I have to CT. I don't like having to drink them anymore. I did not put the energy into typing out

all of this for no reason. With some kind of strength it feels good to have this mindset and stay optimally

healthy as we all can and will when we put in an effort to do it. Strong !! I did it. I'm almost there. With tears

to do so. I'm cleaning.

I used to be hooked on those energy drinks too, I'd drink one everyday before work. I've managed to stop drinking them completely by switching to something much simpler.
I'm not a morning person, and realized if I can get up in the morning and get ready for work then I can go to work, or even on my off days.
So I don't drink much coffee or tea, one thing I do that helps is on my bedside table i keep 1 200mg caffeine pill for the morning, so the second i open my eyeballs when my alarm goes off I take just 1 of those tablets. It oddly gives me enough energy and motivation to get up and do everything I need to do to get my day started. It seems to be enough caffeine to keep me going through my work shift. & It's naturally derived caffeine, so it's nothing artificial. Tastes like tea.
Maybe you can give that a try? It's really helped me atleast get my days started without having to drink any energy drinks.

I haven't had one yet today.

I know sobriety is so boring. But we are still the same person and a way healthier version.
And you are that great one. I don't know how you stayed so amazing.
And being sober and better will help us through so much.
It feels sober and awful painful some days but everyday we are healthier and better. Smarter goes along with it.

hey for the meetings wink wink

Ah don' care if it rains or freezes
'Long as Ah got mah plastic Jebus,
Sittin' on the dashboard of mah car!

The feel-good endorphins that are released will be a way better high than anything from those drugs especially with alcohol.

Yes.

Thanks for being here Ds

I will be back maybe. Haha. Apples and lemon juice.

Some days i wake up feeling so shitty. My mouth is dry, my nose is stopped up and I've got a migraine. I thought it was allergies, but I've been dealing with the same symptoms for nearly 2 years now. So I'm starting to wonder if I have some kind of sleep apnea.
During the day i start feeling better, but when it's bedtime, no matter where I'm at my nose starts closing up like it's set on autopilot.
I've tried pretty much everything from taking allergy medicine, to psudophedrine, those nasal strips, but nothing seems to be working. It's super frustrating, and makes my nights and mornings turn brutal.
I've got an appointment with my sub doctor next week, and my primary the week after. I've been thinking about seeing a virtual doctor in the meantime to help me figure out what i can take.

All and all it's pay day, and rents due Saturday.

It does bring tears. You're the Best though. Really it's true.

Being healthy is getting harder and harder. I might not drink and take drugs but i eat a lot of microwaveable food, icecream/popsicles and candy. I definitely could be doing a lot better but sometimes it's just so hard for me to cook something healthy.
I've got high blood pressure for sure, and probably need to get back taking something for it.

Anyways, I'm nearly 6 months sober. My clean date being around Valentine's Day. ❤️💔

You must ween.

I had to ween from all of that too. The Drinks are going to kill me though .... maybe not.

I know. I used to be joking when I was high and we needed Food. I would say I'm just going

to go find an apple tree.

Here's an apple for the teacher. I love that. ;)🍎
