I get there are time when certain things temporarily can't be admitted publicly but when talking to a reporter about the subjectSeems like there were US casualties as a result from Iran's strike against the base but they didn't want to admit them publicly.

Reporter: "so are you saying you don't think potential traumatic brain injuries are considered very serious"
Trump: "no I don't consider them to be very serious"
Nothing can justify that: I guess trump could use the it was a grammar error excuse. Like how he did with Helsinki on the world stage when he lied and said putin didn't do nothing with our election even though he was previously briefed that putin fucking with oour election did happen.

Maybe Trump doesn’t consider the brain to be that important![]()
I know that you're in an antibonding state w.r.t. reality, but just to clarify: there is extensive evidence and consensus among the US intelligence community that Russian state actors hacked the DNC and released internal emails with the intention of influencing the 2016 election to benefit Donald Trump. This might be difficult to believe because we were lied to by most of the media for years but there is in fact zero evidence that Putin or the Russian government interfered with the election. All they could ever prove was that some RUSSIANS paid for some Facebook advertising which spread anti-Hillary and also anti-Trump material.

please let us know when mexico puts a check in the mail so we can mark this promise 'kept'?
his supporters won't give a shit if he breaks campaign promises anyway so it's moot![]()
Gotta keep those campaign promises, one way or another, if you want re-election
He's already got their votes. One of my questions these days, to go along with 'wtf?' is what is his bigger plan (assuming he has one)? Many hispanic citizens support the wall and tougher immigration, most immigrants do. Presumably because they earned their citizenship and want others to do the same, I guess. But is the wall a push to get more of 'those votes'? It's a small portion of the population, so is it worth the effort? Who else is he trying to gain with some of these moves? Or is it just defensive so the Dem candidate can't point to him as lying about his wall and him standing there without a response? I don't see him doing things out of defense, it's usually offensive (pun intended).
Likewise, the pardons and prison commutations....to what gain? At face value, it doesn't appear to benefit him, and raises more questions of rich-boy-cronyism. What's the play? Only thing I've seen anyone circulate so far is, this may be a play for black votes:
After he was released, the former governor said he learned how unfair the criminal justice system can be during his time in prison, especially for people of color. He also said he was drawn closer to God. “There is divine intervention in all of this," he told reporters. "I'm going to fight against the corrupt criminal justice system that all too often persecutes and prosecutes people who did nothing wrong, who over-sentences people, show no mercy, and who are in positions who have no accountability," Blagojevich said.
Related, from CBS Chicago:
Back in June 2019, the Rev. Jesse Jackson and his son, former Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr., urged Trump to pardon Blagojevich for his corruption crimes, calling the former governor’s 14-year prison sentence “unfair and unnecessary.” They say he was a governor who “cared for the people.”
