Rest easy, Heroine. Russia is barely even fit to be a rival of the State of Texas. :D Its economy is embarrassingly small and weak, and Russia will never stand as an equal with the United States--no matter what it ever does. It will always cower in subordination to the mighty United States of America, while we stand tall, arm-in-arm with our vast coalition of blood-brothers and sacred allies that spans the globe.

it's pretty easy to warmonger, when you are probably not the one to do the killing and dying. Irans government is a dictatorship, everyone knows that, but you realize that the ones who suffer the most from a war are mostly the civilians and the regular soldiers? I just cannot understand how anybody can call for war and be totally cold blooded to the atrocities and suffering and horror implicated in going to war. sure sometimes war might be necessary (WW2 for example, but in my opinion, if the leaders of the world had acted against facism beforehand, the war itself might have been avoidable), or unavoidable, but what do you think will be achieved by invading Iran? especially when it is evident that the Iraq war was such a huge failure and waste of lives and money? If George W would have invaded Iran I'd have cheered for it then, and I'll cheer for Trump to do it now.
If he gets us into another war it might get him re-elected. Iran's regime is evil and it's only a matter of time and who's going to do it until it falls forever.
Guys, if you want to make Trump look like a bad guy, you literally have tens of thousands of better points to yell at him over. Some of us want the Axis of Evil to die. Got to love W's words.
I know this is kinda splitting hairs, but I just want to point out that permanently irradiating anything is actually impossible.
^ this, ever since Moore I got the feeling Trump only wants to pick the losers least likely to win, just to see if he can make it a reality.Let's hope the pattern holds of him betting on the losing horse.
it is evident that the Iraq war was such a huge failure and waste of lives and money?

As much as I dislike Trump, I can't even approve of such a crass display of public vandalism.https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/25/politics/trump-walk-of-fame-star-smash/index.html

Sad to see Hollywood Blvd. torn up, but I understand the sentiment behind the action.
As much as I dislike Trump, I can't even approve of such a crass display of public vandalism.
Within an hour of the tape's broadcast, attorney Michael Avenatti said on MSNBC, when asked by host Lawrence O'Donnell what he hears, said: “I'm hearing two criminal co-conspirators conspire on making a payment and I'm hearing Michael Cohen be a sycophant for Trump.”
“There's no doubt that Michael Cohen has the goods on the president,” Avenatti said.

Donald Trump could be ready to order a strike against Iran, Australian Government figures say
![]()
Senior figures in the Turnbull Government have told the ABC they believe the United States is prepared to bomb Iran's nuclear capability, perhaps as early as next month, and that Australia is poised to help identify possible targets.
Key points:
Senior Government figures say Australian defence facilities would likely play a role in identifying possible targets
But another senior source, in security, emphasises there is a difference between providing intelligence and "active targeting"
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull says he has no reason to believe the US is preparing for a confrontation
It comes amid intense sabre-rattling by US President Donald Trump and his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani.
The ABC has been told secretive Australian defence facilities would likely play a role in identifying targets in Iran, as would British intelligence agencies.
But a senior security source emphasised there was a big difference between providing accurate intelligence and analysis on Iran's facilities and being part of a "kinetic" mission.
"Developing a picture is very different to actually participating in a strike," the source said.
"Providing intelligence and understanding as to what is happening on the ground so that the Government and allied governments are fully informed to make decisions is different to active targeting."
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said this morning he had no reason to believe the US was preparing for a military confrontation.
"President Trump has made his views very clear to the whole world, but this story … has not benefited from any consultation with me, the Foreign Minister, the Defence Minister or the Chief of the Defence Force," he said.
The top-secret Pine Gap joint defence facility in the Northern Territory is considered crucial among the so-called "Five Eyes" intelligence partners — the US, UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand — for its role in directing American spy satellites.
Analysts from the little-known spy agency Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation would also be expected to play a part.
Canada would be unlikely to play a role in any military action in Iran, nor would the smallest Five Eyes security partner New Zealand, sources said.
