Alright folks time for a new thread in HL cause I said so lol!

Whether it is for looking good and feeling good about your body, or for health reasons and workout strengthening, state your fitness goal/goals for this year.

My goal is to drop 5 more pounds (currently at 131 lbs) as I want to focus into other types of Yoga besides Bikram (Hatha and Kundalini are the next ones on my list). I am also looking into crossfit training as soon as September starts.
 
I'm also trying to lose weight. That doxepin increased my already big appetite so it's very hard to cut down my calories but I'm able to do it by avoiding calorie-dense foods.

I'm around 183lbs/83kg now. I'll be satisfied if I lose 15lbs/7kg by mid october.

I need to gain at least 10 pounds. It seems impossible, as I have lost +70 pounds in few years. No food seems to get my weight up. It is so cold when you are skinny, for at least where I live! Well, now I have stated it so I am going to find a way to gain some muscles, not fat. Its hard to lose weight but for me it seems much harder to gain it back. Now at 147 lbs was 210 lbs years ago.
 
I do excersice quite a lot. I have been tapering my meds and have some chronic pain issues and luckily i have found that right type of excersing helps me a lot. Though, there might be the problem. I cant use my right arm always, so it makes it hard to do any weightlifting, so i go jogging and make some push ups, pullups, abs and back excersices. If i try to use more weight my arm always gets very painful for weeks.
 
^perhaps dumbbells are much better that weights?? Maybe you can just exercise using dumbbells so it's not going to put too much effort on your arms.

I went to the gym yesterday and weighed myself and it's 130 lbs!!:i have to make a coreecrtion on my first post, my target weight is 125 so yes i still have 5 more pounds to go to reach my goal. There's is no stopping Maya on achieving that goal and i am actually doubling up my workout today: spinning class then hot yoga after!
 
If I'm on the way to having two functioning shoulders by the end of the year I will be happy as pie.

I am currently at the yoga centre waiting for my hot yoga class. I also checked my weight recently and im 129 lbs. 4 more lbs and I'm close to meeting my target. I have had compliments and different reactions from friends, family and acquaintances. Some like the improvement and others think i am too thin for my built. I on the otherhand am very happy with the results of my hardwork so far.
 
Dislocated my right shoulder 20+ times in the last 18 months. Like an idiot I tried to ignore it for ages and kept stressing it and all the ligaments are fucked.

I'm booked in for an MRI on it on thursday and I'm supposed to be not putting it under any stress but I fell off my bike yesterday, popped it again and now it's totally fubar. I've dealt with it in my own way to a certain extent so far but I've really done something fucked up this time. I'm crying out for painkillers this morning and I've got nothing decent.

THECATINTHEHAT don’t stress your shoulder too much. I broke my shoulder about 7 years ago. At first doctors told me to use my shoulder as much as possible (1.-2years). Well, that was untrue in my case. I broke my shoulder even more and I ended up in my countrys top hospital where I have been told many times that they cant do any surgery anymore without me having too big chance of losing my whole arm. And as I understand my situation is now my own fault cause I trained too much!!

It has also been said that in other countries there could be better quality MRI:s and so on. What I meant to say is that avoid anything leading more pain. Shoulders are tricky to operate!
 
Yeah apparently the shoulder op could be a simpleish ligament fix with keyhole surgery but if the bones have been wearing on each other they might have open me up an pin it.

I went to A+E in the end and they x-rayed just to be sure it was fully relocated and there were no chips of bone. Gave me a sling and a box of codeine to keep me comfortable until thursday when I get the MRI and I should know more soon after that.

I think i would be pretty crushed if i get a leg injury!! I'm a cardio freak so knowing that i would have to refrain from cardio exercises will suck big time!! No injuries so far crossing my fingers.
 
I like to do combat sports (which was how all this started happening) and I haven't been able to train in about a year. It's infuriating. Now it's so fucked up I can't even ride my road bike. Hopefully it will be good enough to do that again after a week or so though.
 
I sprained my wrist and lost some muscle weight, I'd like to get up to 145lbs and get my strength back
 
I want to loose weight and want to make by body in shape. I want my stomach should be flat and reduce fat from back side. By doing this my body will be in perfect shape.
 
^what exercises are you into? Sports perhaps or martial arts?
