the 2010 NBA playoffs!

Bynum's been playing hurt for a while now...but I think as long as he neutralizes Perkins then that's all the Lakers really need from him. The knee drain should help. He may be able to spurt out for a game but I wouldn't count on it.

And yeah Nate could be a nice spark off the bench. He'll have to fill that Eddie House/James Posey 3-point barrage component w/ Rasheed for the Celtics to be successful imo.

And regarding the rest of your post, a pretty fair assessment overall even if we value championships differently. You're right that Fisher was not in the mix during the championship-less Kobe years, and any Lakers fan would tell y that it was a mistake to let him go then because of his undervalued leadership at the time, but honestly I think him leaving helped improve his outside shooting (particularly when playing for the Warriors, where he put up career-best numbers).

And I mostly agree with your Lebron/Kobe opinion because it aligns with my own results > potential position. Should Lebron realize his potential and turn it into results (likely with a similar kind of help Kobe's had over his career) then my position could change. It's the overblown hype that doesn't do it for me. With Kobe, hype isn't necessary. :)

This is the first year that I thought that LeBron passed Kobe for #2.

Dwayne Wade is still the most talented baller out there ;)

P.S. BEAT LA!!!

Finals tied 1-1.

Ray Allen went off but how about freaking Rondo?!! Sure they have Artest to guard Pierce but who can guard Rondo for 45+ minutes a game? I really hope Ainge gets some players after KG and Ray are gone in the next 2 years. Rondo is becoming very special. :D

but who can guard Rondo for 45+ minutes a game?

Um, there's this guy named 'Kobe Bryant.'

I hear he plays for the Lakers and that he is named to the NBA All-Defensive First team virtually every single season.

On Sunday, unfortunately, Kobe couldn't possibly guard Rondo (or anyone) for 45 minutes, because he was in (rare) foul trouble.

Tune in tonight.

I think you'll see that that Bryant dude will somehow be able to contain a fourth-year 14-point a game scorer who is smaller than he is, and who can't shoot 3's.

Speaking of ignorance how about the fact that LBJ wants to retire MJ's number. Ya that's great but, then he wears Bill Russell's number? Like I've said before he has a lot of maturing to do before he gets there.

That's fucking bullshit and everyone with half a brain knows it. He wants to make more $$$ is all.

And you're right, how about LBJ wins a championship first before he starts wearing the #6.. That's a slap in the face to Russell.
