There is no exchange option, but you go in a ballot to win a tour of Jimminy Jillickers Nang factory, and a lifetime supply of Nangs. :)

(of course the gold makes the Nang taste terrible ;))

I haven't been introduced to anyone by my bluelight name for a good few years now, nor have I met someone who has been a bluelighter and actually been told their screen name. I guess there's always the chance that I've met more of you than either person realises, but probably not.
