THC detox tips??

Hi, i'm soon starting a new job and have been informed that i'll be required to take a urine test. I have a little under 2 weeks. I have stopped smoking now but have been a daily user for over 10 years. I've done some research and read all sorts of theories from heavy exercise, flushing with water, cranberry juice or green tea right through to using other substances to speed my metabolism. Some even suggest drinking vinegar or diluted bleach! tho that doesn't seem too clever to me....
Has anyone out there been in a similar situation to mine and managed to score a negative test?
I've read about all sorts of herbal detox products that some people swear by but can't find anywhere that actually sell them.
Does anyone have any solid advice on what i'm best off doing here or where i can buy some of these magic products? any help would be much appreciated

P.S. I'm lightly built (skinny as a rake actually!) so probably don't have too much in the way of fat cells
 
Most of those "magic" products are just all marketing hype. Do what they do in gaol, drink lot's of water, do lot's of exercise daily, and hope for the best.
 
I dont have any suggestions other than the ones you've mentioned, but 10 years is a very long time to be a daily smoker, so i imagine you will need to do something drastic to avoid a positive test.
 
go to a stoner shop and buy those special drinks wich flush your system or just take someone else piss with you and say u cant piss with someone watching and swap it
 
Sweating is supposed to be really good for removing toxins from the body, that's why they suggest that when you have a fever to let yourself sweat it out.

Maybe exercise until you sweat (make sure you drink lots of water if you're going to be over exerting yourself) or duck down to the local gym and sit in the sauna a couple of times?

No idea if this will help remove the THC from your system but since it's supposed to remove toxins it might help? Just a thought! All the best...
 
thc is stored in ya fat, thats why it takes so long to get out of your system.
get your own tester so you can see if you still have it in your system before you go for a work test.
drink water and eat healthy foods i spoze.
 
Buy the Dipscan 6 from any chemist that stock it (terry white normally do or even hospital supply stores ive been told). It will give u an idea if any THC is found in your urine after you work out drink loads of water, eat multi vitamins daily and 750-1000mg vit c daily.

sweating definitely helps, go for a long walk or run and you'll smell the shit coming out of it. Maybe alcohol will help? THC is alcohol soluable. Maybe that idea is retarded though.

Just dont hit the pipe. Sleep and anxiety will only be a few days. No more.. you'll be able to eat properly in a few days too.. Its all psychological, except for the tobacco you may spin with, that gives u the complete cravings and physical withdrawals.. Pot withdrawals are most stomach discomfort and anger over small things.

Keep with it, A friend passed a drug blood test for the Army and he smoked pot the night before then did some charcole detox thing right after.. Although maybe it stays in urine longer than blood like most drugs do.
 
I had a mate who had to undergoe a physical, which included a piss test, before he could begin a high profile business internship. Anyway he got pissed and smoked pot only about a week or less before it. He rarely, rarely smoked so it really pissed him off he had gotten that drunk and had forgotten about the physical. Anyway he drank a shit load of water and stuff, did the test and they never commented. They probably didnt even test for cannabis, or if they did they were not too fussed.
So if you are worrying dont stress out too much, they may not be nazi's about it. They may not even be looking for it.

Whooh! Depending upon your daily intake, sleep and anxiety might just get progressively worse... did anyone mention the tiredness, loss of appetite, panic attacks, headaches and a general awareness that your body is changing but your brain doesn't want it to? Still, these and other withdrawal symptoms are normal, so mentioning these is not so much to put you off doing the detox, but rather to prepare you for what might lie ahead.

Chances are they will be looking for THC in the test, so lots of water and exercise as suggested. If you're thinking about niacin, eat lots of vegemite (110mg of niacin /100g). It also contains other B group vits which could also be helpful. Niacin is biosynthesised in the body from tryptophan so also drink lots of milk.

If you take a supplement, get the nicotinic acid form rather than nicotinamide. The former will lower blood cholesterol and triglycerides which should result in fat stores of THC being mobilised. It's best to not take over ~1.25g/day or side effects may be noticed.

Don't think that just because you're skinny that you don't have fat. It surrounds and forms integral parts of the major organs, and cells in your body have bi-lipid membranes. Adipose tissue (fat) is also found in different forms in fibroblasts, endothelial cells and macrophages and is also present in the subcutaneous layer of the skin. Different regions of adipose tissue have different roles, although primarily it is a store of energy. Other functions include the release of hormones and cell signalling chemicals such as cytokines

THC predominantly accumulates in the fatty tissue of the testes, liver and other organs with high adipose tissue.
 
I smoked for 5 years gave up cold turkey and it wasnt that bad. Bit of body problems, nausea, stomach cramps, loss of appetite and insomnia. Bit of "welcome back reality" too which had the power to be powerful or irritiating and scary.

went away for a week or two.. i did continue smoking ciggies for some time though
 
i smoked everday since I was 16 and now 31 .. only smoked say 2 cones every few hrs so roughly 1/2 gram a day I quit for about 6 months when turned 30 and was pretty hard to do .. I put on 15 kilos , had hard time sleeping , got the shits over nothing , and had some very trippy dreams, anyway this will happen to most people but the main thing that did stuff me up was the nicotine from the spin as I actually had to have a ciggy before going to sleep to help and I dont really smoke cigs I only used it with the pot.

Ive noticed if you smoke Hydro that is a hell of alot harder to quit than the good bushy.

I now might have 1 cone say every few months like at a party or if Ive had way too many pills but thats it.

the first 2-3 weeks is the hardest mate so you will be right .. just have a couple beers before bed to help you sleep.

Anyway to pass the drug test there are many methods as said above... if your a fat bastard then it will take like 3-4 months to clear ya system if your a chronic user say 1/2 a gram or 1 Gram a day.

Like everyone else has said exercise a lot, like til your sweating then drink as much water as you can afterwards. Drink lots of water before the actual test too.
 
Make sure it isnt the first piss of the day is something no ones mentioned yet. Drinking too much water may count as dilution and you will have to be retested or they may send it to a lab (if they want to fork out that kind of money) or use different methods. Use Vitamen C to make your urine look not so clear.
 
Thats ridiculous. Name one labourer that doesnt smoke bongs after work and eat pills on the weekend.. oh yeah the chronic pissheads.. but its ok for them to operate heavy machinery after 2 hours of sleep and 5 hours of a splitting awake hangover headache all night.. theyre right on the ball....
